I saw some of these photos floating around the internets. The concept art is pretty amazing, and the resin mold you mention is probably one of the better looking Animated toys I've seen. They probably didn't make it since there was a Universe equivalent, which is a shame.

There's someone on /toy/ who took pics of some of the stuff. He's not taking pics of everything though, he's trying to urge people to buy it, and it is very well worth indeed! Simply amazing, though it makes me even more sad that we didn't get a Season 4 now. :(

Yeah Thats why i han't scanned it.

Spotted a load of cameos on pg 125
ALso hidden pic of Wing saber and sideways

Theres a break down of some of season 4s planning.....Bulkhead and sari were to stay on Cybertron and be replaced with Ironhide by the looks of things.

Is that an international or the other version of FP?

Man, Hasbro released the wrong Hot Shot, that's loads better then the Uni version.

I ordered a copy of their website the other day, said 6th July when I made the order, now it says the 2nd and my order's processing, looks like I shouldn't have long to wait. :D

Btw, is that an Earth mode Hotshot? Certainly looks it.

Partly, the real reasons and thus the whole truth aren't known and likely never will be known to us. We do know that Hasbro wanted to expand into media, the movies and the co creation of TFA with CN were the first part of that endeavor, the founding of their own TV network with Discovery is the next big step for them. It seems that they wanted to have complete creative control over the cartoons so they cancelled their contract with CN. It being a co creation they can't take TFA with them so they have to start over. Likewise CN can't continue TFA without Hasbro's co-operation.

That's my view on the matter, it's a simplified view but I think that's more or less what happened.

That Hotshot proto looks so much nicer than the universe one. Apparently Animated Vangelus is also in the book - does that make him official then?

I hope Hasbro don't come to regret letting Sorenson and co have those toy pictures, I'd like to see a whole book of unused/canned ideas/protos but if all they get from it is endless bitching (more then likely) then I can't see that happening.
