Here is my most recent "Dino" work. Diorama built up with a Tamiya Brachiosaurus model kit, and 2 Papo Allosaurus solid vinyl figurines. I had to reposition one of the Allos (they were both the exact same figure.)
I wanted it to depict a juvenile Brachiosaurus being herded to it's demise by 2 hungry Allosaurs. Color schemes are based loosely on Luis Rey's artwork, and the base was detailed out to resemble an arrid plain. Hope you like it! Will be for sale soon.

I love your Dino stuff, it brings back memories from when I went to the Smithsonian when I was younger and was all into it.

I echo Plowking's sentiments, your paint work is top-notch!

Very beautiful. Too bad Allosaurus was an opportunist predator like most theropods and as such would not likely go after a healthy adult Brachiosaurus. Who cares though. That Diorama is kick ass.

Yeah this Brach is far too small to be an adult. As stated he is a juvenile. Allosaurs have been shown to be some of the most aggressive hunters out of the theropods. Almost every near complete Allosaur skeleton shows a large amount of healed bone injuries (which wouldn't even take into account soft tissue damage.) See Big Al for a good example. This shows that they were willing to take risks for a meal (or sex) and in a pack (which has also been proven by trackways) they would have been even more brazen. Don't believe everything you read on the internets! Many of the theories that have popped up lately are just speculation, and don't have much scientific basis. I believe that most theropods were a combination of active hunters, and scavengers, likely becoming less predatory as they got larger, since they could just chase smaller predators away from their kill.

    Thanks!

I may not be the dino-lover I was as a nipper, but good models is good models. This is good models. I love the 'realistic' markings on these guys.

okay dude, ya got me! I forgot that once a dinosaur was born, it was small, and then it automatically got really big! No sizes in between.

why don't you do your own so I can pick it apart, Mr. Bob Bakkerhornerson. Or maybe your name is....Timothy vernon???
