I still think Iverson is the best player in the league, should be interested if he can lead this team in the playoffs...

Shame...couple of weeks earlier and he wouldn't have missed out on the brawl Saturday night. I bet Iverson's pretty scrappy in a fight.

Once 'Melo is back (hopefully sooner than 15 games, based on if they appeal), he and Iverson are going to tear it up.

So the top two scorers in the NBA are on the same team? ...Well. No more making fun of the Nuggets I guess.

That seems like the likely scenario, but it could implode on them by screwing up team chemistry and creating lower production between two key players.

AI was a star on the Sixers, Now he is going to have to share that stardom. His ball hog ways may screw things up.

It's somewhat similar (but on a way higher scale) to Mike James joining the Wolves. He had great numbers on a shitty team. He was running the show in Toronto. Now look at his numbers. They are average again.

Woah, I haven't watched NBA since like 1998. I remember Iverson though, he was pretty cool.

Iverson will be missed here. I remember going to his first rookie game. Thanks Iverson for the memories and for taking us back to the NBA Finals.

    oh shiat!

i didnt think it was possible to thug out denver than it already was o_O

its been brewing for the past week, thank god for the end, dramallama.

i'm not sure how this is going to pan out tho. both players are chuckers and both players are on the ball players. with the nugs it was always how the frontcourt guys contributed offensively so that hasnt changed at all.

...is earl the squirrel still playing there?

Yeah, Earl is still there. His jersey is a big seller around here.

And my question is, where the heck was he in the Knicks brawl?

have they youtubed that? i cant find it.

    earl wins. everybody loves him.

that said, iverson on board is not an automatic no brainer as far as the west is concerned. the big 3 of the west still revolves around spurs, dallas and suns, all of whom arent reliant on iso plays (which the nugs did with melo and will do more with al) and utah (for now at least) who play great half/fullcourt games.

i.e. its still a toss up in the west, but it does make it a bit more interesting.

i was actually counting on AI to go to boston actually :(

also, its fucking amazing how, due to the success of bron and wade, how under the radar melo's game is o_O

best top 3 draft pick EVER.

Any player that requests/demands a trade can kiss my ass.

How well would your boss take it if you said - hey can you transfer my 5 year contract with the company over to a competitor? I don't like you anymore.
