Sorry for the obnoxious title, but I just noticed something distressing; I recently purchased RID Sky-byte (MIB) from Soundwave.ca :) thumb) and it has yet to arrive, however, I noticed something I was previously un-aware of, Skybyte has clear plastic. I have no doubt mine will arrive fine but I'm concerned about how he will fair under continued use.

Have any of you who own/have owned Skybyte and have actively played with/posed/TFed/displayed him ever have cracking or horrible stress marks on yours?

My Sky-byte doesn't have any clear plastic, besides the clear part of his Predacon symbol.

It's very dark clear plastric, most evident on the arms.

EDIT: Here's a picture that shows it.

Gelshark has clear-er plastic also, but I'm not getting him. The problem is, it's used for the knees (entire upper legs actually), and I know the clear plastic on the AB Bros was shit.

Huh, you're right... it's so dark I never noticed it. His tail fin's main blade is made of it as well

Well I'll be darned. The clear plastic is softer than the normal, it's only on the inner part of the thigh too. But I don't think it'll crack. Then again I hardly ever touch my Sky-byte...

I own both Skybyte and Gelshark, and definitely don't have any stress marks or cracks whatsoever.

The clear plastic is especially more noticeable on Gelshark, as his plastic is...clearer. He's a pretty solid toy and all, so I wouldn't worry.

I have TM2 Cybershark... I didn't notice any problems with any of the mentioned regions. (they aren't clear, but to say if the area's prone to damage...)

Clear plastic is typicaly weaker than solid, hence, my concern. I don't think Cybershark would have this problem.
