trying to complete the colored set was hard enough, but trying to get these guys is near impossible........so does anyone else on here have any of them? i know grimlocksg and ams have the white set completed and i know a few others who have one to a few of them (hotspot, bodhar and a few others). i want them eventually but i know they will prolly cost 500-5000 each if im lucky, especially the white shuffler dammit. since the colored shuffler was selling at 800-1600 last year alone. i just wanted to see who else shares this insane goal.

Wow. $1600 for a headmaster? Now that's a level of commitment I am not prepared to reach.

    Good luck, dude! :thumb

I thought I was hardcore by pursuing just the basic Japanese exclusive in the current market. I feel less guilty now :)

I used to own all six white heads, but sold them about 5 years ago. I wish I kept them so I could sell them now since the prices skyrocketed. It was another one of those items that I spent all this money on and was never really all that impressed with them. Coupled with fact I was afraid to display them since I was worried they would turn yellow. Also they came in little bags, so they weren't that displayable in the first place.

I'd like to get my hands on a few of the white HMs as well but they are well beyond my price range. I know someone who recently paid $2k for a white shuffler. I think there's a white trizor (or it could lione I dont remember) on ebay but they want $2k for that. Easy pass.

I had the opportunity to purchase a whole set of them once, and this was a while ago. I had the money, thought of the price and what else I could get, and thought of a trip to Hawaii with the girlfirend. I passed, went to the Bahamas instead. I made the right choice too, because white Shuffler won't blow me on a Jetski out in the ocean.

lol crazy, just curious what did the guy want for the entire white set and can you pass me his info?

how much did you sell them for?

yeah i think the white trizor was from yahoo japan. it sold for 2k and i know who bought it. man 2 k for a white shuffler damn thats cheap, considering what the normal colored one was going for. lucky the prices have dropped a bit since last year.

the botcon stuff is coming slowly. i though i would be finished by now but some of the prices are just too insane. lol funny how i dont wanna pay inflated prices for a botcon ratchet, yet im willing to bite on white hms...this plastic crack has me hooked...

This was about 9 years ago, from the guy that used to get all my MISB stuff from. I haven't spoke to him in years, his name was Ian or something. He wanted about 5K for the set back then. Waaaay too expensive for a few headmasters.

I actually don't have a complete set - I'm missing the white Shuffler.

While it does remain my sole piece of unattained G1, it's one of those things that I don't spend a lot of time worrying about. If I ever run across it and have the cash on hand I'll get it, but it's not a priority at all, and I'm not actively hunting it. As rare as they are, I find the individual Headmasters (and the Headmasters concept as a whole, frankly) pretty bland.

Like I said, they are pretty bland. Other than the rarity I really don't see many collectors going after them for any other reason. I would rather have a regular set as opposed to the all white.

Speaking of bland and extremely rare G1s. Any of you have the Japanese cassette combiners? I've never seen them complete on eBay...

The only thing i can say here is---

    :jawdropper:

If you're going to spend that kind of money on these guys,
try investing in a nice trip to disney world instead.
    Your family will thank you.
