I just recently got 3 RiD deluxes at target for 13 dollars each, where as toys r us is selling them for around 16 dollars
and target sells the voyagers for aaround 20 dollars where as toys r us is selling them for around 27 dollars!
why the sudden increase in price JUST at toys r us?

Nothing new. TRU have been padding prices for a while now.

Why? Because they think they can get away with it.

As it is, you're lucky enough to live somewhere that gives you access to multiple stores (including Target & TRU), both of which that have competetive pricing & timely stock. You were also able to buy what you wanted at the cheaper retailer at the foot of their release, I wouldn't worry. Also, TRU is a specialized store, so its only natural for their price points to be a little higher because you're paying for better availability and a more suited supply chain. Not sure what else to say that's not common sense.

TRU has always had higher prices because TRU ONLY sells toys and Targets and Walmarts sell EVERYTHING and toys.

Plus. TRU generally has a sale going on for what feels like always. Even if you buy the figures at full price within your two week window for a price adjustment you will see a sale on the very figures you bought.

TRU has always been the last resort. For anything.

    It pretty much like Kmart.

Just go to facebook, hit the like button on TRU's page and print out the 20% coupon, which should balance things out a little more.

Be happy you can get RID toys period. I'd pay toysrus prices happily if they actually had the RID in stock. I've got 4 targets and 2 toysrus in my area and no RID to pick up yet.

So this is new and get alarmed about? TRU's prices have been always higher on regular priced items.

If you don't like the price go somewhere else?
