long story short i got a walther p99 airsoft gun as a gag gift from my brother and was working on another project and stumbled upon some sketches in the back of the IDW infiltration paper back and it gave a break down of his IDW incarnation's transformation after rumaging throught the parts bin a foiund everything i needed and in 3 days this is what i came up with the left arm is a little longer at the moment but that will all be taken care of when i go back and finish it all up and shorten the end of the gun then i will go back add teh sides of his torso and finishe the head and hands and get him a scope and a paintjob (i may also change the orientation of the elbow so when it bends the fusion cannon would be on his side instead of underslung like the classics mold) thanks for looking
Dude, this is friggin' ridiculous! AMAZING work! I think the only improvements that can be made (if any), would be to do some sort of fold out ab/torso section on the sides so that it fills in the thin frame, then add a nice custom Megatron head (ahem, I can cast one that I made for my Megs) , and last......ship it to me. lol Keep up the great work, my friend! We really need to collab on some cool stuff sometime (if I can ever find enough free time from work and my own stuff). haha
An airsoft reshell, excellent! This looks like it's gonna be rad. What tool do you use to get such clean cuts on thick plastic like that?
