Transformers: All Hail Megatron #4 - page 3
Now we're talking...
Cant wait to read this one.
Now maybe we can get moving, can't wait for this one.
Oh yeah, now things are moving.
One thing I noticed is that Ironhide and Prowl are now in their Universe (2008) bodies. Did that happen in earlier issues?
Still looks like Ironhide's IDW body.
And Prowl's is Universe - has been since his appearance in AHM 1.
How many issues does this series run?
Whoever the traitor is, I really hope it's not one of those continuity-altering things, like Identity Crisis. I hope it's someone like Counterpunch, Nightbeat, or Doubledealer.
12, so we'll be a third of the way through after this one.
Is this a joke? This is the worst dialogue I've ever seen in a Transformers comic. This is 1st Dreamwave mini series level of awful. Megatron giving that completely asinine speech to the troops. Did he really think the humans would offer much of a defense? He's been on Earth for the last 3 or 4 years with ZERO resistance from them. And that select group are the mightiest of their race? 3 seekers, a tapedeck, some insects and well, Devastator. Other than Devastator it's little, the c string in terms of power. Blah, I hate this series.
Well, given that Nightbeat and Doubledealer are currently offline...
I hope it's someone we won't expect though. Right now Jetfire and Jazz are up there on my list.
What top tier Decepticons were you expecting? This series uses season 1 and 2 Generation 1 characters-- almost everyone during that time was way under powered compared to later characters.
How are folks enjoying the series? I haven't read any issues but I'm excited about it and will get the TPB as soon as it gets published.
Soundwave and Frenzy have both been previously demonstrated plenty of power in this series.
Finally, a plot!
Oh wait, it's three issues leading up to a whodunnit?
Fuck, I give up.
I wasn't expecting any top tier bots really. When I hear the word "Gods" I don't think Rumble, Insecticons and Skywarp.
I'm not enjoying it in the least. 3 issues of nothing random violence happened
Not really enjoying this myself. I've got back to collecting TF comics since the beginnings of the DW days, and this so far has been the most boring story from everything I've read since then. Artwork is fine. Colors great. It's just that this story is going waay to slow, not only that, but IDW released this to early IMO. When this storyline was released, we still didn't finish the Revelations/Spotlight, and we still have Maximum Dinobots (5 issues) to go through before we can even understand what the funk is going on. Not like there's much going on except explosions, and humans. Oh, Megs is laughing maniacally here and there.
loving the art, nice to see them converting to the Classics/Universe/Masterpiece bodies, i just could never get into the IDW redesigns. They always looked really awkward to me (Ironhide still does there...)
My god, i'm so loving this series.
I'm still waiting for this promised explanation as to why the seekers have gone back to F-15s.
Does anyone else think it's quite that, in the -ation series, it was emphasised that Earth was just one of many battlefronts in a galaxy-spanning cold war? All of a sudden Earth seems to be incredibly important for no real reason. It's like 80s G1 all over again.
That's the whole point of this series.
SPOILER: At the end of Spotlight: Sideswipe, Gorlam Prime is re-christened Cybertron. In this series, it looks like "new" Cybertron is in just as good condition as "old" Cybertron.
