When the people in the tunnel first heard the train coming, I just knew they were in trouble. Astrotrain is so awesome. 200,000 humans dead so far. Things are looking extremely grim, but next month looks like we shift back to the arguing Autobot survivors. Also I thought one of the Reflector guys got killed, but all three are back in this issue. This series is worth it just for the amazing art which hasn't lost a beat yet.

Yeah, but it better go somewhere soon, I'm getting tired random human kills and a non advancing plot.

Yeah this series has probably been the most gripping for me thus far.

And I do recall one of the Reflector guys getting a face full of missile or something.

Loved the part where Rumble blew up the bug. :lol

Spotlight Wheelie. Actually, I think ALL 3 of them get slagged.

Oh, that must be it. Because I believe I've read almost all latest IDW TF comics, well, except Spotlight Wheelie, for... an obvious reason.

    Thanks for the info. ;)

Wheelie was one of the better Spotlight issues IMO. You should try to find it.

The official explanation on the IDW boards is that the Reflector trio didn't arrive on Wheelie's planet until long after AHM was over.

So basically, nobody bothered to answer Wheelie's distress call in the interim. He's just got that bad luck.

Bits and pieces were nice, but it definitely did NOT feel like a 22 page comic. Anti-Furmanism be damned, at least we get story to go along with the nice art on most of his comics.

And every time McCarthy offers an arguement it just seems like another half-assed excuse.

I thought it was the best issue by far with the Megs/Starscream interaction. But as a New Yorker, I'm insulted. If any New Yorker saw a purple choo-choo from the depression era and yelled "we're saved!" should be shot for being an idiot.

If I don't know that there's transforming robots out there for sure (I just know that there's giant robots) and I see any kind of train arriving, I would get my hopes up.

And I died a little inside. Why won't ANYONE do something with them to make them awesome? All kinds of other obscure Transformers get to do stuff in the comics...

(I haven't read AHM #3 yet, other than seeing the Astrotrain bit posted online, so if they DO get to do anything more than stand in the background, don't spoil me!)

    Really? REALLY?

You're not launching the monthly diatribe about how this isn't in continuity, now that Megatron attributes the defeat of the Autobots to "a systematic, simultaneous galaxy-wide assault brought about by one of their own"?

    I'm disappointed.

Wait, what Autobot symbol with bleeding eyes? Was this inside the book? On the outside cover of a variant I didn't buy? I bought cover B(Decepticon flag, Starscream's shilloutte). Is the additional material different in Canada?
