I think in the main game, the Marines have access to mines and turrets while the Predators get that distracting ability (thought I doubt it's efficiency in multiplayer).
Oooooh crud. I was reading through some gamefaq forums (big mistake right?) and one guy talked about playing as an Alien destroying various light sources. I dunno if that is feature in this current AVP game but I remember that you can destroy lights in the previous titles. That outta be something for you Xeno fans to check out. Which, I really shouldnt have said anything sense I mostly play as a marine and I like my lights, dern it.
Oh yeah, I saw a marine shooting the light fixtures during one of the games I was playing. So it's possible.

Note to self.... Camp by the lights, shoot any Xenomorphs trying to kill the lights. Tea bag dead Xenomorph... Get balls to melt off... That plan might need some modification.

Yeah the first game I played, i saw three xenomorphs running together, so I joined the pack thinking we were going after the Predator together, and they turned on me... I thought "Doh, it's free for all, and here I was thinking that's it's awesome to tag team as Aliens."
The demo is 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1. Or you can call it a 8 player free for all. If we all do large gathering, we could do some "house rules" with it going Marines, vs Aliens, vs Predators. The server will only allow 2 Preds, so the rest could be 3 Xeno's and 3 marines. Frankly, I'd rather see 4 Xeno's and 2 Marines. Those Xenos are suppose to swarm! I think 2 marines are pretty fair, they're the only guys who start off with guns, them Preddie's gotta acquire theirs on the field.

The 4th weapon for the Predator is the remote mines. There is also a new feature for the Predator where he can actually cloak himself a marine disguise and blend right in with them. Imagine running around with your squad when all of a sudden one of your men starts ripping the other guys to shreds. Chances are he's a Predator in disguise.
I spend most of my Xeno time on the ceiling. You'd be surprised how few people think to look up there, even other aliens.
As a Xeno, the ceiling is a total safe spot. I think it's impossible to get grabbed up there. Even by another Xeno. Besides having a shit time trying to attack with the tail, I love playing as an Alien.
