The pictures show the blades out. I wonder if they can be tucked in the arms.
sweet jeebus even in this form he's awesome
the car's rear window looks terrible
IMO, the red is just right. Metallic is not proper Ferrari rosso corsa.
You know that's an unpainted test shot right??? The fully painted version is, while not exact, a pretty close approximation of a real Ferrari.
hopefully we will see a review very soon, can't wait for it though
There is no paint according to the thread, it says later the real product will have metallic paint on it.
He's not that much taller than '07 Bee. This guy is reported to stand 6 inches tall so he'll be just a tiny bit taller.
I don't have any AOE or TLK deluxe figures to compare this with but he won't be inches above the original trilogy deluxe figures.
Preordered him TF-Direct has a small discount now to make equal price as BBTS. Nice!
Thanks, sadly they just get smaller from there and DOTM is my Bee of choice
This figure literally brought me out of hiatus. I had sold all of my collection, and completely switched to other hobbies. Seeing this figure sparked my interest all over again. (Funnily enough, Mirage is my avatar from way back as well.) Have it preordered. Can't wait!
I suppose, Firage will be about shoulder height of your other MP Carbots (considering normal MP Carbots range around 6.5 -7.2 inch).
It is not bad size. For me at least.
Why? No reason.. not to debate. Just curious..
Is it because original deluxe scale is bigger and this is original deluxe scale? (asking.. not knowing)
Anybody else read his name as HARDON?
In all seriousness, as a bayverse carbot... It's pretty good, size wise and all.
Should be smaller than Bee, so right on.
I guess u have that on your mind? jk. Unless..
My question was real. Not sure what you meant in response.
I meant as in.. What is this scale vs Deluxe scale? Slightly taller than deluxe scale? I kind of assumed it is deluxe scale.. about 6 or 7 inches?
Remember that everything is smaller these days, and costs more for what you get... On the official channel that is.
Take a leader optimus from 07' and compare it to a 17' optimus... Same price point, yet the 07' was bigger, more heft to it, less shellforming, and came with electronics...
If we are only comparing AA's Firage to bayverse offerings, due to the scale being out of wack already from the official channel all these years - then he should fit in nicely with anything from the first movie. Anything after that is incomparable due to the likes of "voyager" megatron (yeah right) and "crankcase" in vehicle form in the dotm offerings.
This is not "Stinger" who was based on bumblebee, but the movieverse version of mirage... He can be whatever size he needs to be so the alt mode fits... Smaller bot mode is acceptable, but I wouldn't turn my nose up to a larger bot if the vehicle scale fits.
And I was joking about the name-tag... But I swear, that's how I kept reading it due to skimming,
Imma just leave this here...
I'd say this guy is coming out at the PERFECT time!!!
In a totally unrelated thread?? Why?
Let's just hope Klaatu isn't a fluke.
AA it's from the same tree as XTBS, seeing a good XTB figure and BETTER than the others it's a sign of improvement in their QX.
