In a (albeit, slight) way, some of the later enemy encounters we're pseudo boss battles (have to beat back a bunch of tougher enemies to proceed), but yeah, I thought for sure there would be more than just one. Can't say that I cared about that too much, though. I guess I'm just easy to please. I just had loads of fun playing it, with or without boss battles. If I had any real complaint at all, it would be with some of the later mini-games. I always hate it when you spend close to 80% of a game getting really good at the core game play, only to force you to do some annoying mini-game to proceed at a later point.
Damn, do I miss college lol! This game should not have taken me this long to beat! Anyhow.... I beat it yesterday and here are my thoughts. 1. Awesome, LOVED the ending. I won't spoil it for anyone but let me just say, Alice is in a better place? Maybe? Kinda depends on how you define it 2. Overall, the game did its job. Sucking me into this fantasy world and I had a blast doing it. I can't wait to play it again and search for all the bottles and memories. 3. Chapter 4 had to be my favorite. I loved playing as Spoiler Giant Alice What I hated 1. The controls seem jacked in a few areas. Especially on Chapter 5, you would just randomly get stuck for no reason. I'm not sure what happened but a quick jump, and your on your way. I noticed other glitches too, like Alice carrying the pepper/horse/etc as she would the knife. Kinda weird but nothing THAT distracting to ruin the overall game 2. Oh gosh, those Chapter 5 head mini games are a PAIN IN THE ASS. It didn't slow me down, but they just seemed unnecessary. For the price, i'd recommend it for 60. However, stores like K-Mart are already discounting it down to 35 and at that price, its a real STEAL
In Australia, I walk into my EB shop and noting, not even a damn poster, they not even promoting it. The fuck?
