now that they have shown Transformers that can disguise themselves as humans, do you think that they could use this in the next movie, to infiltrate NEST or other govt. positions. not just to get Sam, but to take over world leader positions-like maybe a fictional Senator or something? or just ignore the option entirely?

Hmmm, it would be similar to IDW's facsimiles...

but I wouldn't be looking forward to it, I'm pretty sure when that fan on Don Murphy's forum suggested Pretenders in TF2, he didn't mean a robotic Jennifer's Body, but Thunderwing and Bludgeon.

I have a really strong feeling that they'll use the organic angle and incorporate at least a couple of Beast Wars characters into TF3 instead.

i like to think of alice like this...soundwave hacked the military network to find the location of the shard...routed the forces of decepticons ( reed bot and ravage) to retrieve the shard...i would think that maybe alice was deployed to earth via entry like ravage was due to the fact that we did not see squads of pretender "seekers" looking for sam...she arrived solo and pretty much on or before the campus right when sam did...since his roommate made a comment that " there is that girl that i have been seeing around campus last week" or something to that effect when he was scoping her out when sam was there....so they could maybe deploy the tactic again....

But in the bayverse...i would say this idea is as dead as Devy's balls

I'd almost bet we'll never see this again. Despite introducing a story concept that could, in theory, help the Decepticons subtly overthrow all major governments and cause the planet to run rampant with turmoil, I bet the "teenage girl robot is sent to rape main character's brain" is the first and last time we'll ever see this variation of "pretenders" in the film series.

Well, technically, Alice isn't a pretender.

There aren't enough words to express how wrong you are. Yes she is.

A pretender is a robot in a removable organic shell. Alice's human skin was part of her.

I refer back to the Generation 1 comic issue called Warrior School. Ratchet states that Teletraan 1 reformatted the Autobots to resemble the dominant lifeforms. The computer mistook the vehicles as the dominant lifeforms. The COULD have transformed into humans as an alt mode. That is what Alice is. An ordinary transformer with a human alt mode.

A real pretender would be like TRU 2-pack Bludgeon going inside of Voyager Bludgeon.

No it wouldn't, because the Voyager isn't an organic shell, it's just a bigger robot.

So what you really mean is that Alice isn't a G1 pretender.

But she is a movie-verse pretender, regardless of past criteria.

Well that would be as close as you could get, considering there aren't any organic transformers in ROTF
