    Interesting.

Wonder if there's anything new there,or just a buyout of wave1-2 toys. Guess the only thing to do is check! :)

German supermarket chain. With branches in other countries, including the USA.

Basically like Wal*Mart, only with a less aggressive attitude.

I wish Aldi in Germany would have TFs too. :(

We have Aldi here in Britland, but the chances of them having TFs at all, let alone any 'special purchases' is about zero to none.

I'd be extremely happy to be proved wrong though.

Interesting. I've never been in our Aldi's. My inlaws get stuff there all the time but I may have to check them out. Thanks for the heads up!

The "Baker's Choice" chocolate chips at Aldi are awesome.

Their brands always seem... sorta weird. Maybe they are all foreign brands.

I will try to check out a local store to see if they have anything good.

Are they the rectangular ones that also come in apple flavour? They're tea-dunking heaven. :D

HA HA HA!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!

They just opened an Aldi's near me. The doors opened just a couple of days ago. I'm gonna have to check that out.

And the Baker's Choice cookies, too.

No no, chocolate chips as in the little pieces of chocolate that you would put in cookies (or eat by themselves, yum).

ALDI? Sure they sell toys around the holidays. If you can find one in your area you can save a bundle of cash more on grocerys than even walmart*.

That's where I picked up armada wheeljack a few years ago.

When the hell did Aldi start carrying toys and electronics? We don't have them here where I live now but, when I lived in IL they were a food-only store that carried generic-brand everything for super-cheap prices. You also had to bag or box your own stuff.

When did they start operating like Wal-mart?

Heh. I remember when Aldi was pretty much groceries-only too. Though even so they still had select toys at certain times of the year. Back in ...what was it, 1991? I got the whole set of TMNT figures from the second movie.

Though the revolving door of electronics (who the hell buys a laptop from Aldi anyway?) and other somewhat high-end items is a change that's taken place within the last maybe five years.

Grocery shopping night, went to Aldi's and they were fully stocked with TF:A up to wave three (Snarl, Jazz, Soundwave), electronic BB and Legends (Barricade, SS, Hotshot). Great chance to get them if they were missed the first time.

Hmm. But were they already at the sale prices? The ad seems to imply the prices start Nov 2.

They were already at the low price (BB @ $17, Deluxes at $7.60-something...).
