Sold. And I can easily get down for an Old Gods of Asgard prequel.

Alan Wake is the only disc game that I own for the 360, and it is awesome. I was really let down that more people apparently didnt play the game. Only thing that I would want from a sequel is a longer game. And a PC version.

The combat was bad and there was too much of it. I hope they fix it :cry

Agreed...for the most part. I didn't think the combat was bad, but it was certainly heavily flawed. The light gimmick was more a pain in the ass than fun. Shine a light on a guy for 30 seconds so his buddies can come in from behind without you being able to see. Kill a few guys, run a little farther, repeat. Oh, and the whole losing all your weapons/flashlight over and over again so you had to find them was ******ed. There needs to be a lot more variety in the gameplay (no terrible driving please!) and weaponry.

I agree with McBradders. I also hope that the sequel isn't 90% in the forest at night getting attacked by shadow hobos.

I think the "combat" would have been better to just have to shine the light for a couple seconds at the enemies, which I think was closer to the original premise before someone stepped in and said "add guns".

I'm a huge fan of Alan Wake, myself. I was one of the few people NOT playing Red Dead at the time :lol . I'm totally up for more, better content. AW was a flawed, but filled with cool ideas to expand upon. I heard speculation that it may come out as a downloadable episodic game. I'd be down with that if they can pull off a steady schedule like TellTale does. That game would totally work with that format. Give me one decent size chunk a month, or even better a 1-2 hour segment a week, and I'd totally be hooked. Whatever it is, I'm just glad to see more AW content.

Everything else other than the game was awesome, though. I am not a hater. I actually couldn't get enough of it while it lasted, but fuck me that combat was awful.

:lol  @ Seeker311, you crazy mang.
