Friday, lets hustle up some new toys! I saw in one of the threads that the Wal Mart G1 reissues are being found in stores here in the US. Has anyone saw or heard word of these yet?
I think that folks are using the in store pick for these. Aside from Canada I have not heard anyone finding the G1 issues at Walmart the the US.
If anyone still needing Ramhorn last time I was at 5 Below they got in a restock of the Titan master ramhorn wave. This was a few weeks ago. Decatur 5 below had them as well and both light and dark versions.
Thought about hitting 5 below and Ollies for recon, looking for wave 3 Prime Masters and possibly Primal. actually saw a Hun Gurrr in person for the first time and it only took since February. This is what we deal with around here, February... ok lets be generous and call t March when the rest of the country got them / I think there was one sighting in this state in that time frame although it was isolated. & months later I see ONE Hun Gurrr at one place once. Trans C found one for me but I had a store credit from a return I needed to use on it so I had to wait and find one in person at a Wal Mart. Only was wave 2 prime Master once ever, only saw wave 2 once until this week when I did finally see a moonracer and blackwing in person. Hwo the hell is this ok, its 7 months late and this is not even unusual.
And yet ironically wave 3 deluxe and legends show up without a hitch. And all places I know of have nixed the leader class altogether. Wanting Ollies to get Primal. Hoping they will, they're supposedly getting a huge Hasbro shipment this winter.
I'm definitely holding off on him until then. We are the privileged east to have such an amazing discount store.
its stressfull once that happenes because that oen could be the only oen till next spring or the 1 per store that are gonna hit could all do it this weekend.
Sorry for double post but I forgot to mention a vintage figure alert at The Deep in Huntsville! I was there buying dice on Friday and they had G1 Abominus and Quickswitch on top of having Beast Wars Megatron, big purple T-Rex, not transmetals. Good luck if you want them!!
Sorry for a 3rd post in a row, but things have obviously been slim or we all finally have our Hun-gurrs and are in a happiness coma lol anyhoo, I just read that instead of waiting on the holiday season, Ollies is releasing their TRU buyout stock NOW!! If anyone sees a Grotusque or Optimal Optimus please let me know where! Likewise, next time I'm out in Albertville I'll report up what they have. Good luck with the figure chase!
Ollies bought out TRU's back stock and was gonna do a holiday bonanza, but according to a memo, they have so much it's clogging their warehouses so they're releasing it now to the holiday season. Could have Grotusque in that group, the mythical final TR wave, it could even contain their exclusive Primus. Shots in the dark, but who knows. TRU just clearanced their stores without shipping in anything new.
