I know there are people that collect/use these, so I figured they were deserving of a thread. and yea I consider them toys since most are plastic and shoot plastic BBs what does everyone own if any? currently I own a Shotgun with scope and laser sight attachments, and a non-automatic Pistol ive had for about 2 years. im not a gun connesuier or anything so I dont know what there modeled after but I do have little wars with a bunch a friends sometimes, lots of fun but painful and sry if this oversteps any board rules
Picked up a pistol at Megatronix(kinda like a junk shop, can't describe it really.) for 5 bucks(new in box) the other day. It shoots, not sure how well or how much it hurts, haven't had the chance to try it out yet.
Did somebody say airsoft?! I'm a player of it and I totally agree that these things are toys, but they're very dangerous toys. Some one can get the easily get the wrong idea. Here's me a few years back at the start of my hobby. Now I actually wear less, I dont wear the mast (but goggles is requires), I dont wear the black tactical vest. Also I got a pretty kickass set of knee bads (courching down on concrete is a pain!). Here's also a pic of me with most of my collection. It's rather silly, and I also dont have the MP7 sling around my chest now. I found that while the MP7 worked out pretty good, it didnt suit my play style. Every time I needed a "backup" weapon, I ended up just carrying around more ammo. I dont even have a pistol

I have a M1, a Desert Eagle, and Robocop's gun. I really wanted them because the guns are so cool in MW/MW2 and it's freakin' Robocop's gun, how could I not get it?
man, the level of high functioning ******s in our society astound me more and more every day. well i probaly should get used to it, i am on the internets
Transformers kinda killed most of my interest in airsoft, but I still have a few relics from that hobby, most notably my Krinkov: Pre-op Post-op
i can't afford the high-end ones. Dammit, i want the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) and just because my dad used one in 'Nam, the M-79. i collect the inexpensive and mostly terrible shotguns and pistols. But i don't play. they just make for cheap and convincing props in short movies me and my posse sometimes make. Managed to get a decent one my parents use to scare off strays. dad loves plunking horny cats that are going at it in the yard 'round the house. it's humane and effective. as for mental ******ation and "toy safety" goes, i tell people that if you learned how to tie your shoes before age 21, these plastic pellet poppers can be safe. if not, stick to play-doh and safety scissors. They are fantastic little gats, yo.

Relic huh? When I play airsoft, Im usually on the OpFor side, acting as gurellias, mercenaries or civilians taking up arms. That'd be one sexy gun to fit the theme, ya selling it? I've got some money saved up and Im looking to buying a new rifle, Im at a bit of conflict here. I found this rifle, which has a pretty bitch'in feature. Artifical recoil, and it's electric, not gas, oh-lala! The stock also has a chin rest, and it's completely covered in rails for accessories. Costs about $230 It's made by G&G. My friend however is selling is G&G L85 rifle, which he has the actual X4 SUSAT scope on (British version of the ACOG) that he's willing to sell me for $260. I cant remeber if it has artifical recoil, but I do recall shooting a friends L85, with scope, that had blow back. I dont know if it's that very same gun, if I find out it is, them it's a must buy, it shot so well. Anywho, heres the pic. So Im at a tipsy balance point here between two really spiffy guns, your thoughts?
I say go for the first one not only is it cheaper but it looks cooler imho. can probably do more with it too in the way of accesories
Does anyone know a good (and safe) place to sell air pistols online? I have 3 I'm looking to move. They don't have orange tips (so not allowed on ebay) and I don't want to sell to minors. I have a Daisy Powerline 93 ($40), a Gamo PT 80 ($40), and "The Gat" ($25 - missing its original corks, but has its hards and metal pellets). Thanks for any help. If you have a personal interest feel free to DM me. note: these are not airsoft specifically, they fire metal BBs and have no orange tips. Hence why I do not want to sell to minors as well as honor any local state laws.
