I've been thinking if arachnid would rejoin the decepticons because she could use some help getting rid of arcee and the humans. Your thoughts?

She could rejoin for her own gain. Remember how Tarantulus had his whole deal about trying to escape earth? I can see Airachnid getting a similar story. I can certainly see her rejoining just to use Decepticon resources to escape the planet somehow.

While I like that she's kind of her own thing, after awhile it would be odd if it goes unnoticed by the Decepticons that she's on earth.

I could maybe she her crossing paths with Starscream at some point. Maybe he'd try and get her to join his little cause.

She may well become the TFPrime Swindle type character. I can definitely see her cutting a deal with Starscream then double crossing him for Megatron or something like that.

I hope she rejoins the cons, for no other reason that the fact that her interactions with Starscream and Knock Out would be highly amusing.

Possible but unlikely; the woman is an unreliable psycho who'd deal with the inferior human filth of the planet. Megatron also cannot guarantee her obedience or loyalty (or at least a reasonable facade like Starscream) and probably wouldn't want her within 100 miles of whatever super secret awesome plan he's got going........

.......or they had a bad break up and he's not over her, I'm changeable.

In lieu of any evidence to the contrary, I'm going to assume this is canon.

Here's how I see it: After the events of Crisscross, Airachnid will probably be much more obsessed with destroying Jack and Arcee than ever before. If she goes to great lengths she'll probably join up with someone--a group of someones that aren't human--until the deed is done, or try something big like attempt to destroy all humanity like she previously wanted after getting a trophy, and probably die in the episode. It feels to me like it's one or the other since I can't think of other plot-driven directions Airachnid can go by herself.

Anyway, what I'm saying is, despite it being unlikely, don't count out her joining the decepticons just yet. If it'll help kill Jack and Arcee, it'll definitely be an option.

I'd be interested to find out how and why exactly Airachnid left the Decepticons and took off on her own in the first place. I get the impression right now that she'd prefer to remain solo. Though if there was something to be gained by working with another 'con, she might consider it.

You get the feeling it would be like a homage to the Beast Wars "Possession" episode.

I'm really curious as well. I think I'd like to see her team up with the Decepticons. Strength in numbers and all that.

I'd rather he be solo, at least until the story gets very LARGE and ENDGAME-ish and the Cons might need her or the story draws her in.

I get the impression that the Great War has wound down through attrition. Not a lot of cybertronians around anymore, and many of them are scattered throughout the galaxy, like Wheeljack and, until recently, Airachnid.

Notice that Megatron left to find an army. That implies that there are still a fair number of 'cons out there, but that they actually need to be located and brought back into the fold. If the war just kept going on and on, spreading out more and more, eventually little pockets would just peter out on their own with no contact or support from home or the upper echelons.

She was obviously pretty involved while the war was still on Cybertron, but as it went off-planet? Likely she just "lost interest" when it became clear that Cybertron is uninhabitable and the leadership sort of lost focus.

That makes sense. Assuming it's true, I wonder at what point did Airachnid start to consider herself an 'ex-Decepticon' and decide to work solo.
