    Great pics there

I love airshows as well. The best time of year is that one weekend in august when we have the Abbotsford International Airshow. Considering we rarely see any kind of plane fly around here besides the usual airliners,to have a week straight of fighter aircraft flying around is amazing.

Airshows are a blast. Love seeing them from high floors in buildings.
That silver plane looks pretty slick. Nice pics, even that one of Hound with a canvas top

The silver one is a P-51 Mustang and was the coolest all around plane there but I think the Soviet Yak-11 (the black one with the red stripe and star) had the coolest paint job.

The yellow and blue one (also Soviet) was the only jet there.

I don't know about the US, but there are practically no WW2 Russian aircraft that I can remember in the museums over here. Japanese stuff is thin on the ground as well, i've only seen a knackered Zero and the last surviving Kawasaki 100.

I've seen just about every major British, German and American aircraft thougth.

Yak, if you can ever find a picture gallery of one of the EAA Oshkosh airshows, they pull in just about every staple WW2 aircraft you can think of for that. I went in 95 and 97; in 97 they had enough zeroes for a 6-plane squadron demonstration.

...and every time I see a P-51, I cream my pants a little. Gorgeous, gorgeous bird.

Awsome pic's. My all time favorite WW 2 Fighter Plane is the P-51 Mustang and a close second would be the F4U Corsair.

    Nice pics

Thats awesome man, I love old planes. I used to live near the Charleston Air Force base in SC and would go the Thunderbirds all the time. You said you live at the end of the Runway? I know thats loud..
