Anyone know why they never can out with Animated Constructicons toys?
I'm guessing because they wanted to come out with movie devastator first to introduce the next generation to them...but then they realized that animated toys might be shelfwarming more than they thought??? I hope we do see them though. I just really like their personalities.
Cost, time, space, stuff like that. Technical business, no one real reason, just bad circumstances.
Note: try reading the above with Mixmaster's voice. I dunno why, but every time I type in threads about them I hear that voice when I type the words.
They didn't want to listen to all the whining about there only being two. ("when are they going to make the rest?)
I don't get why Swindle (who has only been in two episodes so far...and he was uncoloured and didn't transform in one of them.) gets a toy over Mix and Scrapper who have been in 6 episodes so far.
Didn't this site post some interview/Q&A (or maybe someone on here referred to some interview/Q&A elsewhere) where a Hasbro official indicated they wanted to wait to 'honor the Constructicons' history' in some way for Animated figures, which got people's hopes up that more would be added to the series and/or they would be able to combine, and that's why they were intially holding off (with the potential cancellation after Season 3 obviously changing things, should it happen)?? I remember that, though I can't remember the original source for the life of me.
That's the power of Animated voicework at hand.
I hope we get the Constructicons especially Scrapper.
I'm really disappointed that they didn't at least make the two seen on the show. I really like the design and characterization.
I remember reading that as well (on this forum).
Right now I think the movie Constructicons are one of the major reasons we're not seeing the Animated versions any time soon. But that's just a guess on my part.
