Is there any way to get all your messages in one box with them all tabbed. Anyway through AIM or another program or anything?

I tried using that be for some reason they are only tabbed with the groups on your buddy list? Like everyime who IM"ed me from A would be in A and people from B in B, but I want like everything, group A and group B together.

You can set trillian to open all in one window, you can set it to tab into how ever many, or few windows as you want. Mine only ever opens in one of two windows: Someone in my friends list, and someone not.

The new version of AIM, AIM Triton will let you.

But, they have so many changes that I think I'm going to track down a version of whatever I was running.

I told Jux about AIM Triton, not Google. OMG! What are the chances! Triton is ok. I'm gonna keep it for a few days more and then see if I want Gaim or something.

I tried Triton for a month or two...it became too much of a resource hog on my computer, and was basically more effort than it was worth. I'm back to the latest, pre-Triton version of AIM.

I installed it on my parents' laptop a few months ago. As soon as I did, Windows froze, and then refused to consistently boot, sometimes not even making it to the XP splash screen. It almost made me think that a hardware problem had coincidentally hit at the same time. I went into Safe Mode, removed Triton, and all was well again. So, yeah, screw that program.

Interestingly enough, Triton installed to a new directory, instead of overwriting the previous version, which was still listed in my Start menu. So, I just uninstalled Triton, and continued to use the AIM version it left behind anyway.

I've used Trillian for years, what's wrong with it?
