hey i just got this email from ages 3 and up, here are the highlights

    Masterpiece Megatron

    http://www.agesthreeandup.com/main.jsp?p2=shopping/product.jsp&product_id=600

There has been a lot of talk about the new MP-05, Megatron figure. This figure has not been officially solicited from Takara but we have spoken with our supplier regarding this figure. We will have preorders up right away on this awesome figure. It will be a larger size Walter P-38, just like the original version. We have been told that ours will NOT have the orange tip on it like BBTS is offering with their figure.

    Knock Off Cassettes and Prime

    http://www.agesthreeandup.com/main.jsp?p2=shopping/product.jsp&product_id=598

We have confirmed the production of the two new cassette KO figures will indeed be Ratbat and Ravage. One will be packaged with Rumble and the other with Frenzie. Both of these sets are now up for preorder. A confirmed shipping date has not been made yet but we have been told about 3 weeks for shipping. At the same time we will be stocking the KO Optimus Prime figure as well. This one is just like the original box and everything. If you missed on the reissue Prime or just want a G1 looking figure then this is the one for you

16 bucks for ratbat and frenzy!!!!! im so jumping on that!

Which cassette is the blue one, Frenzy or Rumble? The blue one I have doesn't have any stickers and I am thinking about getting a replacement.

Nice to know that there will be a way to import it the way it was made.

Frenzy is blue. Rumble is red. Even the knockoffs get it right. :D

Too bad the US G1 toon is the only source to get it mixed up.

Frenzy was the blue cassette toy. They mistakenly colored Rumble blue in the cartoon.

I'm ALL OVER those tapes and Megatron. Stellar!

Looks like Americans will have to go north of the border for Megs, esp with more and more US dealers saying they'll only have the modified version.

It was an easy sale for me. Soundwave comes with Ravage and Laserbeak, and two of the packs are Rumble/Buzzsaw and Frenzy/Ratbat. Now we just need Slugfest and Overkill re-released, along with Beastbox and Squawktalk, and we're all set. :D

The latter four though, aren't nearly as expensive to get originals...

    Do they ship internationally?

'Cos by the looks of things, typing my initial reaction would probably be frowned upon by the mod squad. Gah.

nice to know it's available stateside without the orange tip :)

I wish I knew about Ratbat a few months ago. I spent a small fortune for a minty one with gold weapons. he was the last US cassette that I needed. I refuse to try and hunt the jap cassettes. way too much $$$ IMO

Now if only these guys can KO the Japanese Dino cassettes, I'd do a happy dance.

Wow. I'm loving the shipment rate.

How good is AgesThreeAndUp in terms of reliability/quality? Their shipping rates for Canadians sound FAR too good to be true.

Spencer is a great guy to deal with in person and I've heard nothing but praise for his online dealings, especially for the repro MP Prime smokestacks.

Now saying the $6.99 flat shipping is too good to be true is like saying that for BBTS's old $5.99 flat rate but it's true.
