Carrying on from LMayD's final moments in Self Control, this arc is showing why the Framework isn't a good idea. For better or worse, we will always be faced with adversity in life. Removing each person's greatest regret just either gave them a new one or made them bad people. It's not the most upbeat message but it's true: we can't just erase our hardships. Life will always present challenges. The ultimate moral of this arc - & season - is to keep moving forward, surround yourself with those you love, and make the best of life by being the best version of yourself that you can. (That said though, some of the changes were purposefully engineered by Aida.)
I take it Project Looking-glass will allow the doctor to enter the real world in Leopold's body without turning back into the Fitz personality.
Mack did say that he couldn't look his daughter in the eyes after helping sell out Daisy, so I assume he probably went looking for SHIELD to help make up for his actions and allow him to look his daughter in the eyes.
Because that's who Mack is within the Framework but the decision to seek SHIELD and The Patriot out is by Aida's command. I figure Aida will wipe the Framework SHIELD out when she wants to.
I don't know, Mack wanting to help SHIELD because of Daisy and his daughter seems to be more of his decision. If Aida was involved, I think they would have hinted at it by the end of the episode or in the preview for next week's episode. Mack has been put through enough, so Aida using him would just make him feel even worse. Plus, the guy got to spend time with his daughter that he never had. Let him be the hero to her that he couldn't be in the real world.
'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Likely to Have One More Season - MCUExchange i would not mind if it ends in Season 5, just dont end it on a cliffhanger like Agent Carter, give it a proper ending just in case this is it for Coulson and the gang
I'll be absolutely fine with this, they can wrap things up with no loose ends left. Question is, how long will the season be? A little shorter due to Inhumans?
I read ghost rider was going to return and it was going to tie the first half of the season and the second together. Do any of you think he somehow gets into the framework? What else could he do?
hum ... I didn´t even remember this guy !! I guess it´s cool how far they are grabbing ... maybe he is the one daisy allies herself with !? an old foe returns in agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 4x19 images
As much as I'd love to see SHIELD last a few more years because its my favorite Marvel show (even though I've seen only it and Agent Carter), I would though rather take a 5th season instead of just leaving it hanging like ABC did with Agent Carter. If SHIELD could last a few more years, I'd at least like to see it last up through Infinity War and its aftermath. It would be fun to see how Coulson and his team deal with the events of Infinity War and what comes after. If SHIELD does go after a 5th season, I think it could be a good idea to reboot it as Marvel's Secret Warriors since they started the group but never went much further with it after the one episode.
Man, with each episode it becomes harder to watch May and Fitz like this. And unless they don't some how not remembering what they did in the Framework once they get out, they are going to fill so shitty, especially Fitz.
You know, I wish SHIELD could do a whole What If storyline for one season. Imagine all the characters that have been killed and what they would be like in a world like this. SHIELD right now makes you wish certain characters will still alive on the show.
Spoiler AIDAAAAAAAA!!! After what just happened, I hope Jemma kills you when she escapes the framework! And next episode, the Battle of the Framework begins!
I'm calling it now Fitz will be kicked out of SHIELD over this Age of AIDA mess but unlike Tony Stark will have to live with the consequence of what was done in The Framework. I can't wait to see how much damage Quake does to The Triskelion next week lol. I wonder what if Fitz is the only one of the captured Agents not actually in lalaland which means he knows what he's doing but doesn't care.
