okay.... So ive made the base for his legs to see how tall he would be..... And he might stand up to be 15-16 inches tall!   .... Now,i havent completely finished making his upper body( arms, back )' and hes getting really heavy already and the thighs dont seem to be able to hold onto the weight. Im not sure if it will be fine after making the legs , but yeah .... He keeps falling backwards(the swivel part where the thigh connects to the hips.....does anyone have any idea how to solve this?... Thanks  

 

UPDATE!

hey everyone!!....my exams are finally over and ive resumed making this guy....have only made some parts on the legs like the knees and shins ....so here he is!!

 

his torso could use a little more bulk, but i think its too late for that now

 

lol yeah...i kinda realised that really late too :/ but in plucked the red chest parts off and the only thing i can do now it raise them a little bit more off the chest.............this is what happenes when you dont wait for proper, more detailed trailers :/

hey guys!....so another small update.....finished with some of the leg parts and now moved onto the arms......ive also tried making his chest a little bulkier [cant make it any more bulkier].....

hey guys!!......so ive kinda resumed making him again...and im halfway through making his feet. ive also started making his sword now, though im not sure if i willl make shield as well due to lack of time :/ ...anyway here he is so far!  


oh yeah! and ive run into a problem. As i feared...hes become too heavy for his feet to support him...he cant stand on his own......

wow that is truly awesome looking! As for the "weight" problem, how about u try building a skeletal armature, so it will act as his skeletons. it would be inside the structure so its not visible... if u r going for a "paper" only construction, I guess it is possible to build a stronger inner structure. All d best!

hey guys!!.....its been long since i last posted an update on this guy.....somehow ive managed to continue making this guy and its coming together again!  ......anyway....ive made his lower legs a little wider and have now almost finished with his forearms and hands........



The last 3 fingers and the thumb can only be moved at the palm joint while his index fingers can bend at 2 points...sadly he cannot hold his sword in just one hand :/
