Recently turned 37, a fan since '84. Yep, got my first TF when I was four years old
27, and seeing this poll makes me feel a bit younger, so... nice!
I was 8 when TFs first showed up on shelves. The 80's were a great time to grow up
A young 41.
I was around 5 or 6 when I discovered Armada on Cartoon Network when I was in Kindergarten.
Wise words! As some member said "It's just a digit" Interesting, that TFs' ages are also thousands, or millions years, but they aren't old!
I wasn't even born yet during the initial airing of the original show, though I vaguely remember watching one of the Dinobot Island episodes during the early-early 1990's with my cousin. Might've been a G2 rerun circa 1993.
Beast Wars was the first Transformers series I was really into, although I tuned out during its successor series, Beast Machines. Watched maybe four episodes of RiD, though I completely skipped Armada until recently. Energon I watched as often as I could, though I don't know why. Cybertron I almost completely skipped, and I didn't get into Animated until after it was canceled. Prime I actually went to the trouble of scheduling a recording when it was airing on Discovery Kids, though I didn't see the Beast Hunters "finale movie" until a couple weeks after it aired. Rescue Bots and RiD2 I would watch only if I was bored
15 but..(*inserts a bad joke that nobody laughs about in the crowd and everyone eventually leaves me alone in the comedy club, sitting on a black chair, leaving me to wonder where my comedy has gone. I then go back to a 3 star hotel suite in my 2005 nissan altima. *Parks the car. *Enters the hotel with a assistant at the desk on her phone texting her bisexual boyfriend with her hopes that she can marry him 2 years from now. She doesn't even have a high school diploma, sad isn't it? *Goes up in a elevator 3 floors above to the room he paid a full $79.99 with tax. Tax here is pretty cheap if you ask me. *Still has some money from the savings he got from the tax since he thought there was a 15% tax in this city, but I don't know regulations and reforms changes stuff sometimes. *Gets his wallet and goes to a vending machine he saw a floor down. I like to investigate sometimes, alright? *Finally finds a vending machine with only 2 white powdered donuts inside, I go check the date if there was one. It's stale, stale for 3 months, 11 days, 2 hours and 4 minutes stale. Really, at the millisecond i saw it, I thought, hmmm...wonder how it tastes when off the assembly line. I notice there's ants near the machine since I felt a pinch in my right leg. Wonder if I can say anything to the cleaning lady, *cleaning lady walks a second later*, nah, doesn't look like she could do anything to it. *Walks to the elevator while taking a quick stance to the stairs*. "Why not take the stairs today?" I thought. *Takes the stairs to the 3rd level, goes to a nearby window, views down. "Hey, there's my car!", *looks into the city with manufacturing plants blowing off steam. "Hmph..." *Walks over to my room, takes out key while walking, stops. *Looking down at keyhole, turns key. *Opens door, goes over to the laptop I've had for 3 years. *Opens up laptop, types in password, opens up chrome, goes to tfw2005. *Gets out of chair, goes to the refirdgerator, grabs a can of big red and walks over to the desk. *Sits down, opens it up, takes a sip. *Goes to this exact page and clicks on Write your reply.... for which that detail has been ever present in tfw2005. *Inserts comment. Comment is, "15 but everytime he says something dumb, his iq goes down". *Takes a small outburst to employ a sarcastic laugh with a widening smile. Posts comment. Fin.
I actually take inspiration from this skit:
18. Came from the armada era. Been a fan since 3 years old. Saw many g1 vhs rentals as a kid and tftm as well.
Just turned 20 in August. Armada was my introduction and I've had love for this franchise since.
Turned 36 earlier this year. I sort of look back at myself and kids my age as somewhat of a Generation 1(B). Our Transformers were the post movie characters: Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod, Galvatron, Cyclonus, etc., as that's what the majority of our toys were. I did have one of the Dinobots, Sludge. But I think he and Ramjet might've been the only pre movie Transformers toys that I had that wasn't a hand me down from my older cousin (who got me into Transformers).
37 and never looked better
I remeber waching the cartoon and the movie and playing with jetfire.. Man those where the good times.
A very old 42, but I don't look a day over 70.
Is it time for my mush?
42...soon to be 43
Down since day one...
*quick mental maths*
"I"m not 34 ?!"
36. I aged 2 years in 2 seconds 2 minutes ago.
I don't like you right now.
I'm 27, 28 in a couple weeks.
Beast Wars kid as a yoof, but moved on to other things when that ended. The first Bay movie sparked my interest in the wider franchise, and I've been a huge fan of the IDW comics since MTMTE and RID launched back in 2012, which are also what influence my TF toy collecting, as well as Beast Wars Masterpiece.
