    Would you want to see a 4th season of TFA after Prime finishes?

    That would be cool. But I hope Prime will have at least 7 seasons. AT LEAST. Maybe animated can run alongside Prime?

    Seriously people. Animated is dead. It had a good run. It'll be remembered fondly. But it won't be coming back. Time to move on.

    Didn't IDW Publishing say that they would do Season 3.5 and Season 4 comics of Animated?

    They should be doing that as a comic instead of ReGeneration 1.

    Don't think Animated will ever return. Prime will run till the 4th movie or beyond. Hasbro is pulling off what they call, an "Aligned Continuity".

    The Aligned Continuity Project is scheduled to run from 2010 to 2020 [or maybe beyond that as well]. With this project, all Transformers media comes under one mega story. Doesn't matter if it's the Michael Bay movies, War For Cybertron game series, Transformers: Prime, Rescue Bots, Toys or any other thing... it all will share the plot.

    Take the recent examples from Transformers: Prime and Net Dragon's MMORPG;
    Bumblebee losing his voice and jettisoning Allspark to the stars came right out of the Bay Movies.

    Chances of Transformers Animated returning is rather thin at the moment, unless Hasbro decides to do what Takara did with TFA Japan and connect it with Michael Bay movie series. Which is unlikely.

    Whether anyone like it or not, Transformers: Prime is here and here to stay.

    A year ago I would have said yes. But now I think Animated should stay dead. Prime has turned into a great show.

    They canned it because they knew exactly what the fans really wanted: more G1 comics.

    Sigh. I've just started season 3 of Animated and it is brilliant, but already I feel it should have lasted longer. My biggest fear at the moment is the possiblity of Transformers Prime ending only after 3 seasons as well. I really hope Prime goes on for a long time, because aside from 'maybe' bringing back Animated (And giving it to the Hub, not Cartoon Slagging Network), what is there that could possibly succeed Prime? Another crap import from Japan thats only purpose is to sell toys instead of telling an amazing story?

    I'd rather have that Animated comic /and/ Transformers Prime, than Animated season 4 and no Prime.

    Funny, I'd rather have Animated die to get Prime. But luckily that isn't what happened.

    So wait...Hasbro suddenly ends Prime and then makes a new season of a show that ended at least five years ago? A show that their primary market probably won't even remember or care about at all? Yeah, keep dreaming. I know this sounds rude but come on people, Animated is dead. There might be comics someday but you'll need to wait 10+ years for the nostalgia to kick in.
