So much more potential for another TF movie. War for cybertron is cool, but i think not good enough to warrant a film.

Sure, why not. Regardless, Bayformers, by the time the third movie has come out to theaters and left, the DVD hit and been out for a time, all the repaints for that third round of movie toys been bought and the rest warmed the shelves long enough, the related comics been published and trade-paperback'd, I say that brand of Transformers has had more than its fair share of a run in the franchise. It'll be time for a switch in direction be it something more akin to a throwback continuity, or something different entirely.

I would love a war for cybertron movie. But I rather just wait another 5-10 years for someone to reboot the live-action series.

No. Maybe if it was going to be a straight to DVD release or a TV movie premeire on Cartoon Network but no big movie in theaters. That would just ruin it all

I only have 2 criteria: Animated (Why try mediocre-decent CGI when good looking and effective animation is just as good?) and Direct to DVD (Don't want to go through the theater hassle)

No, I would much prefer a movie version of Beast Wars. I would love to see Maximals and Predacons in the theaters.

Be a nice change, seeing Prime, Starscream, ect is getting old.

As long as they all don't look like Pat Lee-style fatasses, I'm fine:rolleyes2

Say what you want about "bayformers", at least ILM knows the meaning of the word "proportion".

I don't think the "Bayformers" will ever end really. If he quits, they'll replace him.
The robots don't age, and it's easy enough to bring in new human (non)characters.

Cinematic release wouldn't work. Casual movie-goers would be frustrated by lack of connection to Earth. More well versed fans would be frustrated by the compromises made.

Cartoon Network had their chance with Animated. They dropped the ball. Repetedly.

Straight to DVD, then maybe on the Hub afterwards

I voted yes, but not necessarily for War for Cybertron (depends on the story). I voted yes because I want Transformers to continue.

Once Bay's gone, I say wait a couple years and reboot, with a new approach, new cast, new creative team, new TF designs, the works...I can easily see this happening since apparently the mentality in Hollywood is to just reboot whenever a franchise that's already made boatloads of cash in the past has gone stale, even if it hasn't been around that long - they're already doing it to Spidey just three movies in.

Save the pre-Earth/Cybertronian stuff for a direct-to-DVD CGI prequel or an IDW prequel comic or something.
