A prequel wouldn't be that interesting. I'd be happy with just a reboot or a stopping of the movie series all together.

I want a new series to be CG. Like Prime with a bigger budget. It would attract children and adult fans if done correctly.

After Bayformers, i'd like a more Cybertron driven franchise. Earth is starting to get boring.

I'd be eager for a theatrical Prime movie. Heck, let them run Darkness Rising in theaters, so the general audience can jump in, and not be too lost.

After watching all the TF: Prime episodes over the past three or four days, anything like that on the big screen would be awesome, but more expensive.

Maybe even Avatar-visual like without real human actors.

I'd kind of like to see the film series sit for a few years. Then after a break I hope we get something different than Bayformers. A nice reboot where they can try out some new ideas with the characters and stories, perhaps even bring in some characters the previous production team wasn't willing to use.

A break from the movies would be nice because I'd like to see where Hasbro can go with Transformers Prime or the toys when they don't have gear up every two years for a big movie push that shoves everything else Transformers to the side.

I think Bayformers is good for what it is. It's a cool action movie staring sentient robots that can transform into stuff. Other than a few throwback references (a few character names, voices, etc), I never considered this Transformers. That being said, I think any attempt to reboot this or continue it within a 3-4 years timeframe would be met with mostly negativity and much ridicule.

So, I agree with you. If and when they reboot it, they need to do it right, and not only hire a great action director, but an excellent writer. Maybe some of the comic writers, I don't know. Something big needs to change though. They completely crapped over most of the characters (Devastator, Devastator....um Devastator, Soundwave, Sideswipe, I could go on...oh yeah, and Devastator) I grew to love coming up. That being said, I am totally jacked for DOTM :)

Yea a reboot in just 3 or 4 years would seem way too quick.

I kind of like the idea of ending on a high note and then waiting a while to try something else. I really don't want to see it get ran into the ground like Star Trek did until Star Trek: Nemesis made them retire the brand for a while. Better to leave people wanting more than to run something into the ground.
