"After all we have done, humans are hunting us!"

Have to admit, its kind of emotional looking at the distressed Optimus in the latest movie, but then I recall how Megatron looked in DoTM... huh, well now that's a karma!

Anyway, back to the figure- I give him a faceplate & new hands. Custom made his blaster, after the one that came with him has been 'returned' to the actual owner ;)

Wow, that looks like a LOT of careful drybrushing! Great work! What colours did you use on him? And it's amazing how paint can really bring out all the sculpted detail that went into these movie molds. Were there any major rubbing problems on this one? I don't have him yet, and was thinking of painting up one myself...

    Amazing detail work. Love it.

The Gundam hands look good on him too...they stay on for transformation?

That is some really nice work mate! He looks all washed out, but in a good way.

Are those hands the old MG or old 1/100 NG Wing series hands?

I mixed green with gray. For technique, its a combination of dry brushed+inkwash, and then rubbed with some alchohol to create that worn looked.
There are some rubbing portions but not so major I think, just need some extra care during transformation. Great mold, highly recommended.

Unfortunately those hands have to be removed in order to transform.

Not sure about grade, but its 1/100 scale.
