I here ya, I love the 84-85 the best. I still get a few 86 & 87 and a few current classics. But nothing tops going to Walmart or kb and seeing all those cool packaged transformers. I just wish I had money growing up, I still like buying an occasional china remake just to open a Transformers G-1 that I never got as a child. I wish Hasbro would put out original stlye packaging like they have done with Gijoe. Nice collection!

 

It's a great collection. However I still feel Trypticon and Metroplex are missing in the overall picture   If remember correctly then originally, Metroplex was supposed to be part of the Diaclone toy line, before it was cancelled in favour of Transformers.
And which also explains his ability to combine with some of the other diaclone based figures in city mode. This is featured In Metroplex' original japanese instructions - not featured in the original US instructions nor the Encore instructions.
