Very nice and I applaud you for not putting it up at an insane price.

I'd say 99p is an insane price. Insanely good, but very much insane.

I think this would be an easier sell if it was the US release, I know I'd certainly be interested in it if it were.

There are many AFA toys that sell for over $3000?

yeah, that could be considered small potatoes in certain realms of AFA collecting.

I know but it irks me a bit when people start there auctions way high instead of letting the buyers decide what an items is worth. I do understand needing a certain price to make it worth selling but i still feel many AFA TFs are over priced but to each their own.

If an AFA collector spent $3000+ on a Transformer, why shouldn't they start the price at what they paid for, if they decide to sell?

No reason at all not to. I just think its fairer to let to the market determine the value with in reason.

If he only get say $2985 for it thats with in reason but if the bidding is way below what he paid then I agree he should cancel the auction. In the end something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I will keep this thread civil not not start any arguments over the AFA.

So if you had a $3000 item, you would start the bid at $.99 and let it ride?

The OP has put a reserve on the item, because he doesn't want just the market to determine the value.

There's really no arguments. I try to keep my points regarding AFA factual.

With an appropriate reserve as the OP has done, yes I would. I said with in reason determine the value, I don't want to see any one get ripped off.

Anyway there is room in this hobby for all types of collectors.

also when since have npot have the facts stood in the way of an argument :lol

Yep there is a reserve on there, but nothing too crazy. Ultimately for me the point of a reserve is not letting it go for less than a certain price which I would be happy to sell for.

@optimus12380 - I know, shame but what can you do?
