I can pick up an afa 80 classic hotrod for 100.00 shipped. is that a good price? the individual scores were 85/80/85

let me know what you experts think. I really want this figure and afa would be great.

    thank alot

When you say classics you mean The Classics Line (2006).

I would never pay a hundred for that, even if it is AFA graded.

If its something from like g1 or something I would consider it a pretty good offer.

Yeah if you are talking about an authentic G1 Hot Rod, $100 for an AFA 80 toy is a fantastic deal, since getting stuff AFA'd costs about 20-30 bucks after shipping anyways.

i dont think a classics figure is worth that much.. as henkei figures are that much more expensive in the US, maybe henkei rodimus might be worth it.. anyway, are u getting it in anticipation of the fansproject upgrade, like everyone else? if so, ur gonna open it up anyway.. i dunno.. i just dont think its worth it

I guess if you're an AFA collector or something, sure. IMO, if it's not G1 then AFA isn't worth it. I bet you anything you can buy a sealed Classics/Henkei Rodimus in the same condition for cheaper.

everywhere I have found it for sale it is between 30-50.00 before shipping. I know it usually costs more than 50.00 to get a figure graded doesn't it? I don't open alot of the figures that I have.. but I do usually get doubles to open :lol

    80 is a crappy grade for a 2-year-old figure...

Next time please clarify as that is not Classics Hot Rod/Rodimus there in those pictures. That's G1 Hot Rod. Big difference.

yeah pass. I have about half a dozen sealed that would be much higher grade. Keep a lookin, and you'll find something better, or at least cheaper

I know what I am talking about.. I have a crapload of g1 figures mib and I did clarify... it was clear as a bell. the picture of mine was directly below that

the link was to the one I was talking about buying.

anyways I picked it up for 70.00 shipped. I that was ok for me because I am a misb collector who will never open it.

in my wtb thread here the best offers I received were 40.00 + shipping.

you couldve got a higher grade by buying one off of ebay that was mint, and there's plenty to be had.

it was afa graded though. I guess I could have gotten a better graded one but with all of the hassle involved I think it was a deal for me.

if this is the case with the pricing then why in the hell is everyone gouging with the prices. I mean I had a seller from here (sells alot too) lowest price was 50.00 + shipping. fuckin crazy.
