20 bucks says it got a 100 because it belongs/belonged to somebody directly linked with AFA.

And last i remember Toywiz weren't the best people in the world to buy from either.

A couple years back I remember an AFA 85 eHobby Insecticon set was on eBay and sold for like $30. As far as ToyWiz, they opened cases of 25th Anniv. GI Joes before they shipped them to me probably confiscating yellow stalkers to sell for uber cash.

Could be one of those KO AFA's that were mentioned a while ago?

Goodness me. $1500? Yikes. I think they need to set their sights lower. No way in hell they get that price. They would be lucky to get $500 IMO. We are not talking about G1 toys here. This is just a reissue and repaint that was an e-Hobby exclusive. Nice, but even the AFA grading shouldn't push that piece above $300. The demand for that set is not that big.

Eh, it's a "best offer" listing, so they might accept a lot less for it.

Knowing ToyWiz, they will probably sit on it for a long time. They probably won't accept any less than $1000 right now.

There used to be some 100's using AFA's old one-number grading system (I want to say even a G1 Wheeljack among those), and also what seemed like more 90-95's at the same time. And, if IIRC, it must have been sheer coincidence those with the highest grades were being sold by Cloud City Collectibles.
