Just posted over at IGN.com it's a story from IESB.net:

We all know the Decepitcon robot DEVASTATOR, a giant robot comprised of several smaller Constructicon robots, is appearing in the Transformers 2 sequel TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN.

But, we've just learned that the Autobots have an answer of their own in the form of SUPERION. SUPERION is itself made up of five "aerial robots" working together to form SUPERION.

    Here's his official description,

The mighty union of the five AERIALBOTS, SUPERION thinks of little else besides destroying any DECEPTICONS he encounters, and protecting any innocent bystanders nearby. The robots that combine to form this powerful warrior are experienced teammates, working in tandem to see that the AUTOBOTS emerge victorious from the fire of THE ANCIENT WAR.

    Silverbolt - Aerialbots leader
    Airazor - Small but fierce
    Fireflight - Easily distracted daydreamer
    Skydive - Aerial strategy expert
    Air Raid - Reckless divebomber

Might be old news, sorry if it is.

What IESB did was saw the Energon Superion repaint in ROTF packaging, and in their uninformed glory figured that it MUST mean Superion is in the film.

When in fact it's just a repaint from an old line - a repaint that was GOING to be in Universe until Hasbro shunted it into the movie line for sales purposes (which I don't blame them for, given it WILL sell better as a movie toy).
