So for our anniversary this year, my wife gave me a nice sum of cash to spend as I will and I've narrowed down my plasticy-goodness purchases to these:

The PlayArts Kai Arkham Asylum Batman and Joker OR
    DC Direct's 13" Justice Batman

I really can't make up my mind which to go for. After factoring in shipping and everything, they work out to be about the same price. Which you guys recommend?

I'd go for the play arts, they usually have really fantastic sculpts. I'm not familiar with the 13in DC Direct, but I tend to avoid DC Direct as a general rule.

Get the Hot Toys 1989 Batman! But a word of warning, there could be some QC issues of sorts. Although mine is problem free. I don't own any if the 3 figures but I will settle for the PlayArts figures. Just make sure there is a serial number imprinted at the bottom of the box.

Pass on both and save up for the Hot Toys Arkham Asylum Batman. Or wait for the tons of 1/6 Batmen to come from Sideshow now that they have the full DC comic license.
