.. sorry for the CAPS... but i might as wel cry instead of shouting!!

    RE-WRITE SINCE PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND ME! :(

As you can see I have received a big lot including the following 3 TF's

    1.OPTIMUS PRIMAL (bat)
Completely yellowed, seller tells me he didn't see it????

    2.BW/BM Optimal Optimus (transparant blue/red)
location A the screw is completely trashed there's no way in the world a screwdriver can open this for me, but the seller tell me he got it brandnew and never put in batteries. location B looks like a springloaded system or a hook needs to grab onto something to help the head stay down and not like you see in the picture (and NO the little tab is not sufficient enough)

    3.Titanium War Within Prime
Well looks like I thought it was painted/sharpied/markered with black wash by some dumb@$$ kid, when I put it next to mine (which I wanted to replace due to a damaged shoulder) I was shocked and though I was scammed... so guess this mystery is allread solved THNX GUYS!!!!

So this leaves issues 1 & 2, what do you guys think I should do?
The seller says they are damaged during transport and tells me to file a claim :(

Dunno about the Primal, but I have two WW Prime's. One from the first run and a secod from the TRU 2-pack. The original actually has the same kind of paint mess on it you described. Almost like a wash gone horribly wrong. Might just be a bad paint job from Hasbro

Yeah, not to get too hard on you, but that lot should not have cost over 100 dollars with the shipping included. Was it a private sale? Sorry to hear you had some broken figures in there too!

IF he bought it loose, I don't even get what he cares if batteries are in the damned figure. If the problem's as simple as taking the batteries out if you'd prefer them not there, it's not a problem.

As for the rest: I don't really understand the pictures and stuff so... I don't even know.

As for the price he paid, from what I've understood from his previous posts: the inflation on Transformers where he lives is substantially higher than what most places pay, so, unless someone is in his area and knows the exchange right and whatnot outside of other factors liek rarity and shipping, then I don't really think it's fair to judge what he paid as "too much"... he's been here for some time, and I'm sure he has sense in the fact that he'd know if what he paid is too much for where he lives.

There is no spring involved in keeping that panel locked down, only a small tab molded into the front of the panel. Press it down until it clicks.

That's a factory-applied black wash. Pretty sloppy, but it's supposed to be that way.

    Calm down.

Really, calm down. You have nothing to complain about.

Figures will yellow, it happens. Maybe the Optimal Optimus you got has a defect or is broken. If the rest of the figures you purchased are perfect then accept these two minor issues and enjoy what you have.

about the black wash... YOU SHIITING RIGHT??? C'mon has/tak WTF!!! :D
Ok I'll keep ;)  thnx then it was my bad.... but what do you've thought if you placed it next to your broken un-blackwashed figure :p

I'll look into the BW Optimal and make pics + video.. maybe this will help explaining

the yellow on the BAT PRIME is extreme believe me... I'll add new pics! :D

The only one that would drive me up the wall would be the primal prime.
I've gotten a stripped screw on an RID Ultra Magnus, with the batteries stuck in the compartment to corrode.

Its maddening. Even if you are a collector who does not care about electronics.
You still want your toys in a gently used condition.

I've had some experience with removing stripped screws with computer motherboards. Sometimes you can get pliers around the edge of the screw and turn it... looks like the area around the screw is too high to do this in this case though. Another possibility is to use a drill to remove the head of the screw. You need to pick a drill bit that is about the same diameter as the screw itself. Also you'll need to be extremely careful not to damage the actual figure. If you can remove the screw head, you might be able to then take needlenose pliers and manually unscrew the shaft of the screw. Good luck, you'll need it.

There are sets at hardware stores that can remove ruined screws.
You are a kitbasher, you should have several thousand screws laying around (I know I do) Buy a kit to remove the screw and replace it with a new one.

As for the yellowed bat... you can file a claim, but then you run the risk of losing the entire haul.

I would just toss it up to a crappy seller and move on. Leave him some negative feedback and go about your day. Between negative feedback and maybe adding them to the bad sellers list here you can have sweet sweet revenge. :ev:
