I bought the Megatron from the first series of 6" Titanium figures, and after the piece of garbage fell apart I stopped Titanium collecting for a while. I've heard that the line got better, so I thought I'd pick up one or two pieces and see what I think. Can anyone give me any opinions or recommendations?

The War Within Ultra Magnus, Sunstorm, RiD Optimus, and Jetfire all look nice to me, but I don't know if they're any good or if I should try a different one first...

the only one on your list I own is Jetfire, and I think he's pretty good, doesnt seem to be very popular though. His backpack isnt very secure but the figure has tight joints and cool details.

Rodimus and The Fallen seem to be the most popular. I dont own them, but they're definitely the ones I want most

I'd avoid the whole line. I bought the WWI Prime and the thing's a piece of junk if you ask me. I really don't like the diecast, makes the figure WAY too heavy and makes the paint apps crap. My advice, stay away from the titaniums.

I only collect the 3'' (I need more) but with G1 UM coming out...

Anyone know if he's any good?

Thundercracker is my favorite so far, but I only have the first 2 waves. I like him much more then Jetfire, and he's quite sturdy.

I haven't been at-all impressed with any of the Titaniums. Why not start with Classics?

Of the figures I own, I would say....

    Good:

    Fallen
    Thundercracker
    Starscream
    RID Prime

    So-So:

    Scourge
    Jetfire
Rodimus (he'd rank a lot higher if it weren't for the gap in his chest and the fact that his chest juts too far forward)

    Straight-Up Bad:

    WW Prime
    GI Joe Megatron

I'd recommend Rodimus Prime, RiD OP, one of the Seekers, or Cheetor as your first return purchase. They're all quite solid.

FTR, GIJoe Megs is the only one with whom I have a major problem*. I'm very happy with my WW OP! (I'm actually happier with him than I am with the Fallen. Sure, ol' Flamebutt looks nice and is satisfyingly big, but those floppy tread halves bug me.)

    [* - I don't have G1 UM or WW Megs yet.]

Fallen is definately the best in terms of looks and feel. Rodimus is hard to pose without looking awkward thanks to his frontheavy proportions, but comes in second overall. RID prime is supposed to be good, but I keep not picking him up due to the excessively cheap looking molded plastic he's molded in. Your own mileage may vary there.

Isn't Rodimus' gun curved slightly? I thought I saw that in a pic.

Most of the Titanium line is pretty solid. The ones that I know of that have stability problems are Megatron, WW Prime and Jetfire. The rest are pretty solid. I've yet to aquire soundwave and the fallen so what I can speak of is pretty much the WW seekers, scourge, op op rid prime and rodimus prime.

I have my own pics of some of them here:

I highly recommand RID Prime i think he is great in every way, also you cant go wrong with the WW seekers. I think i've must of been really lucky with the GI Joe Megs casue i have no problem with him, well besides the little clips or whatever they are that keep his legs attached to his body are a little loose.

The series is not bad. The first Megs was poorly done and I don't care for Soundwave's flopy leg design. The rest of the figures seem to be better.

The only one I've seen that looks remotely decent is Rodimus. Other that that I would be inclined to pass on them completely, if not definitely be very picky.

I am very picky about the line. I have G1 UM , scourge and Rodimus. Scourge is asthetically pleasing if not for the simple transform, but hey, they ALL have simple transforms. Rodimus is very neat and UM is awesome in bot mode , finally a poseable G! magnus bot mode. The vehicle mode is so so.

I also have WWI Prime and Megatron. THey are just ok but def worth getting to represent the WWI series in my collection as with lines I have little interest in i usually just get Prime and Megs.

Rodimus is the most solid. Besides Magnus and maybe the Fallen, everything else is an easy pass.
