Admittedly bad toys that you still like

    We have toys that others hate, but we like (Univ. Galvatron is in this group for me). We've also discussed toys that everyone seems to love but we can't stand.

    This thread is for those toys we openly admit to be terrible, yet we can't help finding some charm in them.

    This happened to me when I finally caved and got the DOTM twins (also my first twins figures). I can't explain this, the toys aren't well designed at all (with some awful inexplicable design choices), the transformation is nothing spectacular and Skids in particular makes me go WTF (no modern transformer should be missing basic knee articulation). And yet, I still kinda like them when I see them posed together! I still know they aren't good figures at all, and can't bring myself to hate the goddamn things.

    So, what are your guilty TF pleasures? What's that figure that while objectively bad, you still like?

    Probably the unposeable "Accessory bots" from A-E-C, especially Overload (Armada), Wing Saber (Energon), and Leobreaker (Actually I like Leo Prime and Botcon Razorclaw more)

    Every Torso bot from teh Energon Combiners, except Barricade. The limbs were so much better. The torsos i only like because of their usefulness in creating the combined mode.

    LOL...I agree! I have not transformed this guy even once from dino mode since I bought him several years ago, and he proudly sits on my shelf! I can't imagine he looks any better as a bot than he does as a dino, so I figure why spoil my enjoyment of him by transforming him into his underwhelming bot mode.

    RotF Demolishor. His transformation is confusing at times. He looks nothing like his CGI counterpart, and in vehicle mode looks like a shitty Tonka toy. Yet, I still like him, and I don't know why. I think because his CGI design is one of my favorites from the movie.

    Universe galvatron and hftd bb for me, The transformation is kool and bb has all the accesories that every bb fig should have imo.
