Sadly it doesn't seem to be in any normal model scale. It's bigger than 1:32 but smaller than 1:24. You're probably best just finding a model that is close enough to mod.... or someone who can whip up custom pieces on say.... a 3D printer.

Just a tip - you can store MPM3 in the clamshell with doors completely closed in car mode if he is upside down. It won't sit flush, but it fits with enough room so that the clamshell can easily slide back into the box.

It would be nice if TRU would send some to Austin Texas. Have yet to see bee much less prime. Of course my local store is more baby stuff than real toys. That is why they are in trouble, They are a toy store that doesnt stock toys.

Ditto, thankfully I was able to get Bee online...may have to MPM-04 as well whenever and if he goes up for online purchase.
I totally missed this but where are you located at, I don't think my area has had sightings of Prime...

might i recommend black Duplicolor vinyl dye. goes on super smooth and drys way thinner than regular paint but still provides great coverage. very popular among the Nerf modding community. anyway this might be a dumb question but how hard are these pieces to install? and how much modification is required to the actual figure to install?

I FINALLY got my Takara version of Bee. The store sent me a Hasbro one and I got an exchange. Ankles are OK but still not good. Not as good as one of my Hasbro versions (which is still not good). After trying three times to get good ankles I've given up and I'm adding Future to all the ankle joints on the Takara Bee. I have no idea how some people can stand their Bee on one foot. I've put two coats of Future so far and there's no way he will ever stand on one foot.

I also got my Takara MPM Prime recently. It was packaged in alt mode and obviously the poor factory workers are having a hard time transforming the Primes. It was the saddest looking truck in package I've seen yet. Gaps everywhere and it wouldn't even roll cause the wheels couldn't reach the ground. I haven't transformed it yet myself because I'm dreading it. I'm sure I'll end up cutting off at least three tabs to make it work. Have a look in the Prime thread to find out more about that.

I like the look of the MPM figures so far but I'm really hoping for more paint and better quality for future releases.

One more thing I forgot to mention is that I love the black screws on the Takara version. So much better than the silver Hasbro screws. It was worth getting just for that in my opinion. They blend in so well.

I just joined this thread, so I am sure it has been answered,

Does anybody have a paint patch for the yellow? I am modeling a ROTF Upgrade kit, and need to repaint the hood section yellow after it is printed.

My goodness, the alt-mode is a freaking mess. At least on my copy, I'd say this thing is more of a pain in the ass to get everything lined up than MPM-04.

Or I suck at transforming it lol. It seems so much more difficult to line everything up than it should.
