Pretty sure I saw in an interview where hasbro confirmed the MPM line would be continuing because of the success of bee and prime.

I'd be VERY surprised if TT doesn't reissue especially considering their recent history of doing just that.

TT release currently in stock at HLJ. Perhaps there is hope for Prime after all.

I know it was said at the beginning that there was no difference between the Hasbro and Takara versions but now that people have both in hand, is that the case?

The TakaraTomy version does not have clear blue paint on the eyes. The eyes are just clear smoke colored and the light piping very bright, making Bee look really creepy.

+1 in addition to the Takara versions (at least ones from HLJ) also including a golden Prime shield in the box

Just got mpm bee today, and its an absolutely phenomenal figure, and I really would like to see more of the engineering used on this guy used in mainline figures as well. But for now I'll just leave my general thoughts here that this figure while extremely well engineered and of exceptional quality is way too expensive for what it is, a carbot. This thing should cost at best 79 to 89 dollars not a 100 which is what this guy goes for. It is a good figure and is well deserving of the title masterpiece, but it's still way too expensive for the size of the figure and the quantity of accessories it has. Full review will be up tonight, but I'll just post my initial thoughts here for now FB_IMG_1502301931667.jpg

Same here. I patiently waited until I spotted him in the store to keep from paying ridiculous online prices.

What I would love to know is: Does the Takara version on average have tighter ankles and stand better than the Hasbro version? I have two TRU Hasbro versions and one stands a little better than the other but both are pretty loose and I always have to lean them forward so they don't fall backwards. I will most likely try Future at some point on the ankle joints. But I shouldn't have to do that.

My Takara version has tight ankle joints and is really solid overall. Might differ between copies though.

Sorry for the long delay, but here are car pics. They don't scale well when in their car modes but it can be fudged with clever photography.
