Do you consider yourself addicted to collecting Transformers?
Could you easily stop at any point?

For me, my name says it all, I feel like I’m totally addicted…

Yeah, I'm addicted, but nowhere near as addicted as others. My collection is almost to the 100 mark, which, imo, is a lot. Though compared to other collections I've seen, mine barely registers on the chart.

I think "addict" could be considered a stage of recovery for me. Addicted barely describes my collecting habits.

I love collecting G1, but I am now a student and need to think twice before buying anything really.

It makes me happy but I'm not addicted.
Cybertron, Animated, Classics and Universe 2.0 were a home run in terms of generating excitement.
ROTF, Beastwars, Armada.... its pick and choose.

I'm happy to sit on my wallet and play with the toys I have for the next little while.

    Addicted? No. Obssessed? Maybe.

For me, an addict is someone who buys transformers instead of food, or paying bills on time or whatever. But the term plastic crack is used a lot (including myself) and there is a level of happiness that comes from just buying a Transformer. And of course, impulse buys imply an addiction of sorts, just the need to buy and open a new TF.

I think I'm just scratching the service of my addiction. My collection this summer has pretty much doubled and I don't have any intentions of slowing down. I have a mortgage to pay, bills to pay, and a dog to feed so those always come first, but I'll eat ramen noodles to save some money for the plastic crack.

My weakness is when I find a good deal, because I have no idea if it'll ever be available again.

I've actually barred myself from wandering too far into the Junkion Exchange because I could easily start buying up a ton of figures :p

Yeah, that thought had crossed my mind recently.

I'm actually hoping that maybe the next series that comes out ends up being something I just won't like. Kinda like how the movie figs and Animated was for some people. :lol

...Who am I kidding, I'll still end up buying them.

Naw, I'm almost getting over it. I bought a shit-ton this summer and I'm kind of burned out. I have less than 10 vintage and E-Hobby toys that I am still looking for. Maybe 25 upcoming items that are on my list. It's to the point where new stuff doesn't give me the same fun that the old school stuff does.

Sigh. It's all downhill once you get Liokaiser. :lolol
