true...but remember the movie released on a tuesday/holiday and those movies released closer to the weekend. so of course they had huge weekends compared to TFs. the true test will be a little gay wizard named harry "butthole" potter.

agreed. Im guessing if this movie would have came out a few weeks ago it would be MUCH MORE huge. I want to kill every harry potter fan I know. I mean its already going to be out of ALL the ultrascreens in my area 1 more day!

exactly...it has some pretty stiff competition with disney's rat and die hard. so i think its going very well. and if you have the chance to see it on dlp digital projector at the theatre its so worth it. i saw it on opening night in the ultra stadium and then saw it the 2nd time on the smaller digital screen and it blew me away how crisp and clean it is.

i watched it on an ultra screen, and it was a little farther back then I usually sit, and I wasnt impressed. I liked it when I took my son and the place was just about empty the best.

Note how all those films have numbers after them ;)

Sequels have built-in returning audiences. Transformers is the highest grossing 6-day start amongst non-sequels. Can't really ask for being better than the best at the same game :p
