Wow. 'Scientists' have far too much time on their hands. They should be retasked to more important stuff... where's my Hoverboard dammit?

Against slow zombies we might have half a chance, but fast ones? We're screwed.

I just got done reading an article in the new issue of men's health about real zombie-ism in Haiti. basically it involves giving someone a concoction by a sorcerer that makes them seem to die--skin turns pale, breathing slows greatly etc. the person is then declared dead and buried. later, they are dug up, and given something else to bring them slightly back to normal, but they are beaten into submission and given a different potion to break down their will. they are then basically a slave, and people are actually given passes to allow them to travel with a zombie. lots of other freaky stuff was in the article. makes me NEVER want to go to Haiti. voodoo is some scary ish.

It would be even worse if they were like necromorphs.

They had something about this on Attack Of The Show in the segment The Loop, if there were Zombies then all you'd have to do is outrun the person next to you until you eventually reach safety or get caught. Just think if you were one of the last people, you get to repopulate Earth, so that'd be a plus.

Unless just men surivive. Or all the men are infertile due to the outbreak and women's vajayjay's have become body devouring traps of doom, like they are now but with teeth!

I wouldn't knock this kind of thing, it's likely that they have packaged this research up as "Zombies" to make it palatable rather than something real and twice as scary that may or may not be out there.

"Should we tell them about this awful virus we've been simulating the spread of?"

"No, tell the shareholders we're predicting Zombie Outbreaks, they'll love that."

    "Roger that, sir."

I was hoping to find a "of course, we're using this as a metaphor for AIDS/rabies/bad spelling." Finding the lead researcher spells his surname with a question mark was also a little off-putting.
