can you remove the spring ? so it transforms normally instead of the instant change gimmick? has anyone ever tried to remove one?
Well, just dont click the button. ^^ I mean, i transform my Activator Prime manually, at least the first time i did til i learn how to put everything in its place. But: why you wanna remove it?
The few I've seen are not all stable, so I can appreciate someone wanting to remove the mechanism. My friend's son has Activator Lockdown and it is nearly impossible to keep it from "springing" out of alt mode.
Doesn't the spring keep it in robot mode, though? I feel like removing it would screw up stability...
From what I've seen a lot of Activators use the springs not just for transformation but for holding the robot mode's parts in place, they don't peg in at all. Removing them might let you manually transform them but then they'd just automorph into a heap of plastic when you tried to stand it up.
yup^^ i dont think it'll be very stable and tight in robot mode if u remove the springs.. dont think u should do it
You stole my line. Title made me think this was about the Activators line ending in spring, but there aren't supposed to be Movie Activators, so that would mean it was due to the line failing or not performing well enough, which I don't think is happening despite the numerous Bulkheads and a price higher than a Deluxe at Wal-Mart!
