I am just curious as to what your views on these guys are?As I know there are many of you that think non-transforming TFS suck! But I myself really like them.

I never cared if they transformed or not. When Action Masters were in stores, I went nuts being able to buy Megatron and Soundwave and whoever again.

I liked them. More accurate to the show then the transforming version was. I wish there were more S1-S2 characters instead of the guys that were only ever action masters. I did think they should have given them a little more articulation. Maybe elbow joints or something.

I think they would be a great way to get figs like Alphatrion or a Nightbird since they didnt transform.I also like how they were More accurate to the show :)  I wonder how AM reissues would do nowadays with some new mold versons maybe?

The non-TF'ing aspect never bothered me, I just don't care for the proportions and general aesthetics.

I didn't care so much about the at first. (they did kinda kill the line in the US for a while) But when I found out about the AM's in Europe, the collector in me just had to get them.

And get them I did. hehehehe

    I hate mine.

That's why I'm trading them to a former co-worker who has some doubles of the G1 figures I need/want.

I liked 'em for creating some cool new characters. The transforming vehicles were fun too. Also think they were cool for allowing some of us to have a chance to get old G1 cartoon characters again. :D

Personally would love to see some of the AM-only characters get made in "cured of Nucleon atrophy" forms or something that could actually transform. Banzai-tron, Krok, etc.

The only one I want is the Prime one, because I collect Primes. Other than that, I collect Transformers, not Non-Transformers.

I just collect some of the characters that I like, since they are nice little cartoon-esque figures. I could care less who Rad or Banzai-Tron is, however. Kinda wish they took the concept a little further, something like a more posable Mega-SCF figure, as opposed to following the GI-Joe-like form factor that they did.

I absolutely love them. They are the first series I completed. I even love the non-transforming / Transforming Action Master Elites but they definately named them wrong......

I never liked them because they didn't transform. Ironically, my actual Transformers spend 99% of their life in robot mode anyway, so it really shouldn't matter to me...but it does.

they were mega SFC figures ahead of thier own time.
all they needed was better articulation.
i still think they are awesome and i used to have soundwave and grimlock.
wish i kept them, i would add prime and bumblebee, probably megs too.

i also agree they should have made some more G1 characters instead of those other AM only guys.
ironhide/ratchet would be awesome as action masters.

I like them a lot. Their articulation was fantastic for the time period, they're nice representations of classic characters, and they DO come with transforming accessories which is plenty sufficient to me.

LOVE THEM. When they came out I was so fascinated with all the new characters like Charger and Banzai-Tron (I love that guy, so much so that I've got a MOSC one). I also liked them as a way to have more cartoon accurate versions of classic characters (i.e. Prowl) and they're all the same size - no wacky size differences to be seen.

    Also, Omega Spreem.
