They look fun. I like the electronic Optimus with the sound effects. Kudos to Hasbro for trying something different, who knows maybe we can get a couple of MASK homages in this series?

Well, Hasbro have done every aspect of MASK in the rotf line now, combine human alliance with stealth force and you've got mask. Not to mention that one off Matt Trakker gi joe.

I'd love to think they're testing the waters to see how well these gimmicks are recieved by kids before launching into any attenmpt to bring back a long dead franchise.

We'll probably see more of this hidden weapons thing next year, as we heard bay apparently loved them and wants to work the idea into tf3. If he does then I could easily see hidden weapons succeeding automorph and mech alive as the next movie line's thematic gimmick and I'm all for that, tricked out cars rock.

And if they then integrate it into Human Alliance...

Edit: Have they said how much these stealth force toys will be yet?

That Prime is creeping onto my buy list...

Around the time the Agent Trakker figure released. (G.I.Joe for those of you who don't know) Hasbro stated they don't actually have the rights to the name "M.A.S.K" any more.

That's actually pretty cool, reminds me of MASK. Won't buy any, but hopefully they'll be packaged so you can demo them.

Kenner was purchased by and integrated into Hasbro in 1991. You can't rip off yourself.

That Prime is really awesome, but I don't think I'll be buying any of these. Though, I may get an Ironhide if they make one of him.

Wow. Cooler than I thought they would be. Not my thing, but if Hasbro were to make a new MASK line I'd bite for sure.

Although I don't really see them having two lines of transforming toys competing against each other.

I'd love for hidden weapons to be the new gimmick for the third movie. I'm not a fan of mech alive or automorph anyway.

If they can make that many electronic hinges for OP, then the next step is gonna be automated transformations. The OP really, REALLY surprised me, the way the weapons flipped out. BB...not so much.

Bumblebee looks like a 'deluxe' kinda thing and Prime is obviously gonna be more. Note BB had no sfx, it's much more like the old mask vehicles thunderhawk and stinger where one simple mechanical motion activates all the features. Hence the complexity is limited to what they can connect to that one motion.

Prime otoh appears to be almost entirely electric and is all the more impressive for being so, really wasn't expecting that.

I think I'll be picking these up as impulse purchases once I've got everything else I want from each wave. :D

I think it's a good stepping stone. I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar feature show up as the next iteration of Automorph-Mech Alive. Having Leader class figures start transforming and letting people finish them would be awesome.
