I've read literally every tutorial on this site, but I'd like real time input from all the pro customizers on here: Which is best? Which one holds up the longest? Do different lines ( movie, Prime, ext.) require different types due to the plastic they're made from?

Presently I've used only Model Masters enamel and Laquers, so I'm not certain if I should switch brands, or just stick with what I'm using.

Enamels and lacquers are colorfast, hold their color longer. Years. Acrylics are easier to work with especially starting out. I love acrylics personally since I brush-paint strictly. If you started with enamels and lacquer maybe try acrylic to see if it's easier. I'm no pro but have done this for five years now.
