Hey guys, got great feeback on my thread about flight stands, and wondering if you guys can help me again, but with acrylic risers and stairs?

I was searching through peoples comments in there collection threads and stumbled upon this site Glass Domes, Acrylic Risers Cases Showcases Doll Stands & Doll Domes Prices are "fairly" good but there shipping is pretty ridiculous.. this is what i wanted to order..

    Clear Two-Step Stairs 4.25" x 8" x 8.5" $16.46
    Clear Three-Step Stairs 6.375" x 12" x 12.625" $28.23 x2 = $56.46
    Estimated Shipping (UPS Ground) $22.66
    Total $95.58

Or Priority Mail USPS – $48.25
    Total $121.17

1 set of two step stairs and 2 sets of 3 step stairs.. and the dang shipping is $22 for ups ground (which is hella slow. and i dont like them) Any other retailers sell these risers? and have cheaper shipping options?

Or any other suggestions for clear risers/stairs?

Thanks for any help you guys can give!

I use a spice rack from Lowes, someone here suggested it to me ages ago. Here it is in use with some Battle Beasts-

Right now I've got one for my Autobot cars and another for my seekers. They work pretty nicely and as best I can remember they were under $10 each.

You should try window dresser stores. In Europe you it's Beekwilder but I don't know any in the US. I bought some great risers from them.

Man you fellas are awesome!! Thanks for all the responses!! NEVER thought of spice racks!! A whole lot cheaper alternative! You guys rock! Hopefully I can find some with about a 2" rise per step, so you can see a little more of the TFs behind the front ones.

TBONE or OPTIMIST Could you tell me the height of the Rise on the 2 top stairs by any chance?

Thanks again guys, really appreciate your help!

I would say that the height between each one is about 2" or so. If you look at my collection pics, that will give you a good picture of how they look. NOTE: Some of my risers have extra lifts on the back level to make some of my figures in the back a little higher. But its probably about 6" in the very back level.

Good luck man! I know the Bay Area B3's have these things so it shouldn't be too hard to find them.

I like these as they are very versatile and come in many sizes. They are cubes, but pull apart, so every ONE that you buy is actually 2 risers so the prices isn't bad. You are also not as limited as you are with the spice racks and can create even more space by putting figures underneath the risers (the larger ones anyway).

The Container Store > Race Car Display Cube

The Container Store > Small Ball & Puck Display Cubes

Here's a pic of part of my collection. A bit crowded at the moment, but you get the point :)

Wow, whole bunch of great Idea's here, I will be grabbing a little bit of everything from this thread!!

Since I'll be displaying my figs in ikea detolfs, there's just so much head room, but with all these suggestions, that is no longer a problem!

Thanks again, to everyone that helped me out with this project!! You also helped others I'm sure when they read through this thread! May everyone have a NON flat display LOL!!

    Bless~!

I was at the Containerstore recently and this thing would be perfect if it was so damn wide for the Detolf, it measures 18" wide and the Detolf is only roughly 15" wide. I was very close to picking it up and just cutting it but decided against it. It looks very nice in person though.
