Ugh! Bet they get Jamie Kennedy to play Ace in any flashbacks.. Now if was Jim carrey with the kid maybe it could be decent, but this is gonna be crap..

How is it that with the writers strike, great shows and movies get halted or even cancelled, but this somehow makes it through the cracks??
FAIL. As if the Ace Ventura movies couldn't suck any more, they make a third movie, without the original Ace.
While it does sound like it could turn out horribly awfull, I think that with the right talent for the kid and his 2 sidekicks, it could turn out pretty good. At the least, it's not another remake in the works.
I think a remake would have been better actually. What I am more surprised about is how this isn't a direct to DVD movie.
Don't forget Evan Almighty, althought that one wasn't too bad, Bruce Almighty was way better. But yeah, these new spin off's of Jim Carrey's classics are annoying
The way this movie is pegged, it sounds like it's going after a completely different audience. The first two were full of raunchy dirty humor, but with a trio of kids it sounds like it's just gonna be a silly/slapstick movie. Regardless, it's gonna suck either way...
