Wow, you have fortunate sized fingers then. I disagree on Fort/Brave/Grand Max to a degree, it sucks far more to lose the larger head then Spike/Plasma/Grand, as you can still make the larger robot and any other Headmaster can fill in for the smaller one. Headmasters and Powermasters are replacable, all you need is one. Most minicons are the same way, and Cyber Keys are not only easily replaced, but they are the easiest to use almost anything to trigger the gimmick if you can't spring it with a minor amount of force. With missing parts, G1 Omega Supreme looses a lot of his fun, such is the drawback of being a partsformer. However, I think it's still the Prime/Seeker mold; it's far too easy to loose parts like fists which are really unique and key parts. You loose one and the figure is greatly reduced.
Powermaster Prime seems like trouble if there's pieces missing. but with G1 in general, i think anything missing drops the value. It almost makes me glad that today's lines don't come with guns/accessories. especially my Universe Prowl with built-in launchers.
These ^ plus G1 seekers. Any figure without hands it's supposed to have looks frankly ridiculous. As does Superion with only one foot...lying helplessly on the floor.
I might not be understanding the opening question, but I'd have to say that anything purchased for me when I was a kid (80's/very early 90's) would qualify because I lost things back then. Now that I'm an "adult" <- I really don't lose anything. So regardless if how big, or how many pieces it comes with, I put them in a bag with a label.
Pretty much what items you'd have to go out and buy another off it you lost some of its accessories. If you lose Classics Bumblebee's jet-pack or Jetfire's gun or missile it's a pain but not that big a deal. If you lose a headmaster's head. . .
Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation. In that case, I'll say G1 Wreck-Gar for me. I hate that toy in bot mode, but I'm missing one of his wheels so I can't display him in alt mode.
If you consider the wings on the original seekers as accessories, I'd have to consider them. All the rest still have at least a robot or vehicle mode that looks fine. Seekers on the other hand, if you remove all of the accessories, including the wings, both modes are useless.
I was greatly sad when Brave Maximus didn't come with his accessories. His weapons now are remakes with the exception of his Matrix Blade, but the hilt is a custom. I also never lost any Transformers parts.
G1 Doubledealer would be a pain to transform if you lost the decepticon powermaster bat. It wouldn't be a total loss but there are two separate pegs flush with the back of the powermaster sockect that need to be pushed at the same time to unlock the bird mode, not easy for everyone to do.
It's easy. Overload was designed to connect to Prime's trailer as a gun emplacement. there's holes for the connectors that lock into prime where overload's lower legs slide off. he can connect to jetfire too. in robot mode, just with no lower legs. so you get a freaky looking super mode Overload.
This. God, I'm one missile short of a complete one and it costs a fortune to get all the tiny accessories.
Scramble City. No, seriously, it actually happens in Scramble City! In any case, the utter worst for losing parts without a doubt are the Autobot Jr Headmasters. Not only does losing the head leave you with a headless robot, but you can only swap in other Jr Headmaster heads because they are smaller, and without the accessories, you lose the helmet which makes the bare head alone look silly. The Decepticon versions avoid this as they were designed without helmets so the tiny heads work with the designs. But they still have the problem that the heads are so small that regular Headmaster heads are still too big to work.
